Nothing so specialThe city is very dusty and dirty and cars, bikes and pedestrians come in every directionsWe were told not to leave the hotel on our own at might so we didnt. It felt like a massive sand storm has been through the city before we arrived but apparently its always like that.We heard islamic prayer call every morning and woke up with it around 4 am as it was super loud and sounded like the mosques are competing to make the biggest disturbance and push everybody out of the bed for preyer. Not a pleasant experience.

Well maintained from the viewpoint to the crater itself. The roads within the park are in good shape. A 4wd vehicle is recommended though. There are clean restrooms and free WiFi within the park, and all the big five are available though we did not see lions and leopards on the day we visited.

Its a bit of an icon. Supposedly the galf-way point between Capetown and Cairo, its really just a traffic circle in a busy, slightly run-down part of town. It appears in the John Wayne movie, Hatari.

WE BOOKED THROUGH CLOCK-TOWER OFFICEThree Peaks Tanzania SafariThis is a very delayed review which I have been meaning to write for many months.I sent a few of my friends on safari through another company owned by someone I know. The company booked my friends initial airport transfer and first nights hotel room through Justine/Obure from Three Peaks, but had not arranged anything else although they had booked 6 months in advance (basically scamming them). They were left to fend for themselves, and would have been totally lost if it werent for Justine. Justine voluntarily helped my friends (two girls) and arranged a driver and hotel bookings from his own pocket, just so that they didnt leave with a bad taste of Tanzania in their mouths (in his words). This man has a heart of gold and will do anything to go above and beyond to make sure you experience the best of Tanzania. Its sad that there are the few tour companies looking to make easy money and taking advantage of tourists, and thats why its important to uphold the reputation of/promote companies such as Three Peaks. Please dont hesitate when booking with Three Peaks, you wont regret it. Thank you Justine (Obure) for your pure heart and all your

These ia a central of Arusha region, all business centers, hotels and restaurants, gifts shops and famous Maasai market rich for gifts and maasai crafts are located. It is a very safe place and people are friendly, sometimes strangers can come straight to you and try to sell something to you so dont be scared just bargaining as much as you can and if you like what they try to sell to you give them half of the price that they will give you. It might not be a really price but atleast you helped them alot.Karibu Arusha. Hakuna matata

It is really nice place because despite of its look, the place also got some history with it.It is one of the major symbol of Arusha town in Tanzania and due to its uniqueness it used to identify Arusha very easy and anyone who know the place may tell if it is Arusha by see the photo of that clock tower. Also despite of its old age but the clock is still working perfectly so it is always useful to the people near by because may know the time easier.Another interesting fact, since its on a junction of four main roads of Arusha, many local people use it as point to tell direction on where to go to their friends and to new people who are not much familia with Arusha so it avoid people to get lost and also to reach there destination super easier.
