On a recent photo safari to Tanzania, we were well cared for by the members of this tour company.Considering the light, time of day and the weather, Anglebert Pantaleo and his group of guides expertly positioned the group to obtain the best opportunities to photograph the animals of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park.My experience was truly exceptional.

Spent two weeks on safari with Anglebert and Tom of Africa Nature Photography & Safaris covering Arusha National Park, to the crater, to Udutu, and ending in the Central Serengeti. The trip was fantastic and more than I could have ever hoped for. The Big 5, the big cats and even the little guys like the dung beetle and the leopard tortoise. So much to see in Tanzania and Anglebert & Tom knew where to go to find all the animals.Their tracking ability (while driving) was second to none and more often than not, other vehicles were coming to the animal sighting Anglebert & Tom found first. Leopards in trees, cheetahs in tall grass, and even a plover on a nest in the middle of the plains.... they could find them.Their knowledge about all the animals was impressive. They understood the animals behavior and were able to predict animal movement so we could get in position for the animals to pass right by us. As photographers themselves they understand light and backgrounds and were always working to get us in the best position for the best photos.While we were taking mid day breaks or enjoying our evening dinner, they were cleaning the vehicles, restocking the coolers, and planning the next adventure for us. The tented camps and lodges were top notch and the food was outstanding.I always tell my friends and co-workers that everyone should go to Africa at least once their lifetime.... Anglebert put on a special trip for my family, who is a mix of photography enthusiasts and seniors, and it was absolutely wonderful! The food and accommodations were first rate, and Angleberts knowledge of the animals was a treasure throughout each day. He accommodated and improved our photographic aims for the photo buffs, but didnt detract at all from the others who wanted to simply enjoy the experience real time. His equipment/ vehicle is perfect and in great shape, and hes a very careful driver. What a wonderful human being who is also a professional in his field. There should be no doubt to whom you should trust your safari!
