We had a more than amazing stay in this hotel. Everything was so beautiful about this place. The rooms, views on the animals in the sanctuary, the nature, the pool, the common areas and last but not least the team working there! The owners are also very sweet and helpful if you would have any questions.Not a big menu but what they serve is delicious. The breakfast was also amazing with everything you need.Side note: And the best thing about this place is its very cool history.

What an amazing place. Still family owned since 1959. You can really feel kind hearted family atmosphere through the staff who try to read every wish from your eyes. Our incoming flight was delayed by a few hours so we got in to the hotel around 1 in the morning. All the restaurant staff waited and cooked us a fantastic meal in the middle of the night. That’s real hospitality rarely found today.

This place is absolutely amazing than the past years. I enjoyed with my child as she was able to see zebras and buffalo. The service was good and the environment itself is heart warming.

Loved my stay. Enchanted place full of the most gorgeous trees. Loved sleeping with the sound of the river flowing right outside my room. The staff are awesome and I felt at home :)

Very welcoming team, absolutely relaxing. The food is good, just a little limiting in terms of menu. This is my stop over place when ever I am in Arusha.

Spectacular scenaries.They have their own pond where you will see beautiful peacocks, ducks and different types of monkeys.The lodge has ancient history which they are conserving.Ive seen one of the tallest cactus tree(may be of height 100-125ft) on the backside of this lodge.Theyve nice pizzas and dont forget to taste the coffee.

This place is a home away from home.I love the green nature of this place, the trees, the room styles, different dinning table setup designs and the lounge of course 🥰The swimming pool is clean.The Bar area is mind blowing.Their pizza is A MUST HAVE.I love that whenever i go to this place i get to see the animals like water buffalo 🐃, the sound of birds and not to forget the monkeys 🐵

Fabulous lodge. Takes you back in time. Last stay of a two week safari to recover before flying home and we could not have chosen a better place. Staff very friendly and not after a tip all the time like many of the other lodges. We stayed in some high-end lodges but this is by far the best for comfort, staff, the owner, who gives his time to chat, the amazing bed and surroundings. Can definitely, definitely recommend to all who need to stay near Kilimanjaro airport, and those who dont 😊 😊👍👍❤❤

The staff is very nice.its quiet. Clean rooms with very useful mosquito nets. The food is not exceptional but for one night its good. About animals, 1 ostrich, 1 zebra and 3 buffalos, they are prisoners in a small park far from their congeners. The crocodile and the porcupines are in small enclosures. I liked the colobus in trees and other monkeys circulating on the rooftops of the rooms.For 1night if you dont need to go to noisy Arusha, it s good.

Day stay. rooms need major updating. hair dryers dont work, ceiling fans loud. look closely at the pictures and see for yourself. people are always kind but the place is not great. poor animals need to go back where they came from. One croc in a small enclosed area. just update the place.. new furniture, window treatments, electrical fixes. better food, some ice for drinks would be nice. It is quiet .. which is nice

Beautiful loved it. Staff incredible and the monkeys are a hoot running around and flying between the trees. Even some domesticated animals to watch too.

Rooms okay, nice with the animals next to the restaurant. BUT ridiculously expensive food after recent renovation. Possibly better food across the street at Rivertree with more moderate prices.

We enjoyed having lunch at the game lodge.The food was good & the atmosphere very pleasant with all the birds & animals close by to view whilst we ate.

Came to Mt. Meru Game Lodge for lunch. The ambiance is fantastic and theres some wildlife to be seen from the outdoor dining area. The food was a bit of a let down though.

A nice hotel, not very clean, but the view of the animals in their park is unmatched, also very nice to wake up at night with the monkeys playing on the roof of your lodge.
