One of the worst Chicken Tikka Masala ever….. The Naan given was Burnt and Crispy….. The rice was not properly cooked and no salt added.The food was not good at all.

You know when you see a lot of Indian looking people at an Indian Restaurant that you have come to the right place. We loved the food and the service was great. The restaurant was cute and clean. The butter chicken was delicious and the portions were huge. Also great naan. Very reasonable prices.

Extremely bad food and they took over 1 hour to bring the food. Also led to a bad stomach, don’t try their Bombay sandwiches it’s just literally plain bread and raw tomatoes and sauce on it that’s it. No cooking skills at all. Should actually close down. Also got a bad stomach one hour after eating. Disgrace for the owner

The most authentic Indian food - home away from home!! Being vegetarian from Udupi/Karnataka I thoroughly enjoyed Ghee roast dosa. Spot on!!Surprisingly I tasted Sharjah (famous milkshake in Mangalore restaurants)!! Perfectly prepared.Impressed the way chef trains locals on tandoori & desi food preparation!!Thank you so much!!!

A good place in the heart of the city with affordable but high quality meals. Staff are also very helpful I forgot my phone there and they brought it to me I was very happy about this too

A small restaurant in the arusha city centre. with plenty of food options on their menu veg and non-veg and some dishes are nice some are pathetic to be honest. open for lunch and dinner.

If there was an option for Zero stars I would have given that.1. Waited one hour for food.2. Portion sizes extremely small.3. Tasteless/overcooked food.4. Things on menu not available.5. Service was also very slow.

Really Nice indian food. In the crazy town of Arusha

DisappointedI was craving for some Indian Cuisines, I visited the place (not too big). I stayed like 5-10 mins no one even asked me anything. Fast forward i called a waiter to bring me a menu, I picked the food she said it will take 35-45 mins I gave up I couldn’t wait I had to leave the place.Maybe next time I will try again and update this review. but I know what 45mins means to some people (1hr+)

Nice restaurant for Indian dishes. If you do not see on menu dish which you are looking for then ask for it. Ask to modify your dish.

Really enjoyed the Indian food here. We got the lentil curry, lamb curry, and the chicken tikka masala (boneless for both meat dishes) along with roti and rice. All very flavorful. Lost one star because the meat was a little grisly...but this could be the best that you could get in the vicinity. Masala tea was good too.

Great Indian cuisne experience. The portions are very generous. The food is generally spicy but you can request the Chef to go easy on the spices. I recommend the mutton roganjosh.

One of the best dinners we had on our trip to Tanzania. Prices were okay (around 10,000 Schillings for a dish. Getting a vegan dish was no problem, Staff was friendly, If you do take away you need to pay for the boxes (1000 Schillings per box I think, that´s okay, as it might help to reduce waste because people rather bring their own), it took quite long to get the food even though when we arrived there were not many other guests.

Best curry in Arusha. Situated in a bit of a dodgy area. Interior stark. Wine list dreadful but they allow BYO. The food makes up for all of that - food is outstanding!

This was the best Indian food Ive eaten in my life! It was so delicious, we went back a second time after our hike up Kili. Hidden behind bamboo on a small street, you wont regret visiting this amazing restaurant. We asked the waitress what to order and she offered some options off the menu (ask for the mixed vegetable dish, it is so good). With a group of 6, we ordered 5 dishes and 6 naan the first time, which might have been too much food and too little naan. The second time, we ordered 4 dishes and 8 orders of naan which was perfect for our group of 6. I highly, highly recommend!!

In spite of the restaurant itself not setting too much store on its ambience, the food is simply delicious, with all the shades of spicy a connoisseur may look for in Indian cuisine.

Great little find, hidden behind bamboo.. Good menu range, non- expensive, fresh lassie, just the ticket for a quick bite, friendly staff, fast service. No frills restaurant in the centre of Arusha Town.. Will be returning to try other dishes.

Its a nice place for Indian food, quick bites like bhajia,kachori etc, a cup of tea ..in short its a small place but just amazing.. small issues like flies annoy alot when you trying to have your food..but I think its something that can be easily sorted by the management as hygiene..otherwise its a nice cozy place

Hotplate 1 as this is called, has a street restaurant vibe which I like. Though it could have been set up a bit better. The food is one of the best Ive eaten in Arusha. If youre looking for a fancier place for dinner go-to Hotplate 2.
