My stay at Furahia Hostel was just amazing. Super nice and friendly staff, great food, very clean and a very nice area. The area is one of the safest in Arusha, so I can not confirm the other comments. At any time I felt safe and reserved.

The hostel is nice, but the location is not safe. It was broken into twice and money stolen. The owner is very repulsive to the female guests and threatens to be kicked out if he doesnt get what he wants. Was also violent. He is unpredictable.Wi-Fi was available for 2 days of one month. The shower in our room was broken the whole time and was not repaired even by pointing out several times !!!!!The owner is mega disorganized and unreliable!In no case book !!
