This place is a hidden gem in Arusha. Outstanding food. Lovely, intimate setting. Charming rooms. Impeccably clean. Warm staff. And so reasonably priced. I cant wait for my next trip!

Wonderful place to stay. Our group only stayed for one night, but it was a great way to end our trip to Tanzania! The rooms are nice and clean. The home cooked meals were amazing! My personal favorite was the cearal we had for breakfast. The staff is amazing and the property is beautiful. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy good company, I recommend staying here.

Off the beaten path, literally, the Researchers Rest House offers clean simple rooms with wonderful meals. What makes it an extraordinary place to stay is the eclectic mix of people who stay there. Some of the best dinner time conversation. The management is also incredibly helpful and can assist with everything from travel planning to the best shopping. Highly, highly recommended.

My favorite BnB or hotel or guesthouse in the world. Super comfortable living room with a huge library, comfy chairs, and a nice view of the yard. The cooks are excellent; better food than youd find in Arusha. They do laundry and its not outrageous. And the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.

The house is great. And everyone was incredibly helpful and nice. I would gladly stay there again. Oh and the puppies are great

Absolutely the dinner to book, everything fresh and incredibly delicious ... quiet location, perfect starting point for safaris etc. Owner very accommodating and helpful, early check in and late check out with availability no problem, thank you very much for everything!
