Our trip went well, we started the journey dar es salaam at 0430hrs to mikumi, we arrived at 0830hrs, our guide paid everything and we started doing game drive, we did a game drive all day we saw a lot of animals ... the next day we did a game driver half day and started our journey back home .thank you very much

For the first time we made a trip to Selous park. honestly we enjoyed. We didnt expect EXPERIENCE ZANZIBAR TOURS would make our trip better than ever!!.When we read review we were shocked .Mr Godfrey by our agreement promises us we would have memorable and good experience. You can see animals in Selous especially along the river.We saw 3 big five.Selous is the best park expecially boat trip in the evening. excellent!

POSTING ORIGINAL REVIEW AGAIN AS THERE IS SOME PROBLEM WITH PREVIOUS ONE.Tourists, there are many reliable tourist agencies in Zanzibar. Check with couple of them and finalise. Dont trust this guy. He charged me for my 2 year old kid for safari but other agencies did not charge for kid and the adult price was also less that what Mr. Godfrey quoted. Similar for other local tours too. By that i was able to save around 400 USD and above all this guy is just a 200 percent CHEAT.1. He made me pay for his mistake. Gave incorrect bank details to transfer fund and his bank charged me fine for that.2. He makes fake promises. He promised to pay me the bank charges as it was his error but never paid and didnt respond when asked.3. He never agrees his mistakes and tries to make up some stories to hide his mistakes.4. He just pretends to be polite and gets rude when questioned.Whatever response he gives for this never believe that as he is very good in making cooked up stories. I have attached proofs for all points. Read further to understand better and better stay away from Mr. Godfrey and his agency Experience Zanzibar Tours And SafarisMr. Godfrey, You promised to transfer amount LOSS FACED BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOUR INCORRECT DETAILS in November beginning but started avoiding when asked for amount.Initially i booked few local tours and day trip to Selous with you and paid USD 65 through bank transfer as an advance test payment and agreed to pay remaining once you received the amount successfully. Proof communication attached.As the bank details you gave was incorrect, payment got rejected. You acknowledged the same and asked me not to make any further transfers. I still requested for correct details to transfer and also an option to pay on arrival.Initially, you said you booked Selous for us but, later you said they cancelled the trip or flight to Selous on 19th completely and asked us to change our dates. Proof attached.When checked as a different customer i found that what you said was a lie. Previously, in your travel document shared with us you mentioned as boat Safari will be included for 1 day trip to Selous. It was a wrong info. You could have accepted that and apologized instead you were just trying to act as if no wrong on your side and was saying only we asked in that group and if all in group agrees only boat Safari is possible and 10 percent 20 percent chance is there.So, based on those two experience, i completely lost trust on you and did not proceed with you further.I was expecting my full amount to be returned but you bank charged me fine for transferring with incorrect bank details which was not my fault.Im just a tourist. You were boasting that you are running this business for 20 yrs and you must know your country, bank rules and regulations. Why should i pay the fine for the incorrect details which you gave.Initially in September you agreed to pay me back that bank charges in beginning of November but now not at all responding to my WhatsApp msg, calls, msg on your site, email and avoiding purposely. Proof attached.It is very clear that you are just a liar and a cheat. Good that I didnt book with you further

I can honestly say that our group of 10, who chose the Lemosho Route to reach the top of Kili in October, were certainly blown away by the level of professionalism and degree of care Experience Zanzibar Tours provided us with.Our guide, Jonson, along with two assistant guides, both named Emmanuel, did an impeccable job in providing us with a truly amazing 8 days. All three of them were supportive and motivated us every step of the way. They made sure our health was in check and we were well hydrated, as well as, acclimatized in order to successfully summit!The team of porters who accompanied us were also exceptional and made sure we were well taken care of. The whole team made this incredibly challenging feat doable and an unforgettable once in a lifetime experience.Thank you so much Experience Safaris team!

Arusha National park .This park is amazing! The best for resting a peace. You can walk between the animals!!Best ever !!!!!

We went on a short safari (5 days) Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. It was an amazing experience. We saw lots of animals, very close. Beautiful scenery. The itinerary was great and the guide was extremely knowledgeable which made our trip unforgettable. It should be done once in a lifetime. We went on a historic city tour, a spice tour and enjoyed it very much! Godfrey managed to organize all tours on short notice and was very helpful. The city tour with Experience Zanzibar was very informative and we heard a lot of interesting stories and learn about local society and culture (although Stone Town might not offer that many sights). The spice tour was nice as well, and it was great to see familiar spices grow directly in the nature. Thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful trip with Experience Zanzibar tours, from the perfect Spice Tour to a full 3 days Safari in Mukimi where everything was tailor made to our needs, pick-up directly from the Ferry to the Park and back directly to the airport. Nestroy and Godfrey our guides were amazing! We spent 2 days with them on safari where they were friendly, pleasant, fun, courteous and knowledgeable about the park and wildlife.They made sure our experience was more than we would expect - even going out to their way to find the lions for us to see. Our group of 5 did a 4 day , 3 night safari with Godfrey and Zablon and we cannot speak highly enough of them. I first contacted Godfrey to ask if he could help our group from Australia with airport transfers in Zanzibar, and his professionalism and prompt replies to all of my questions quickly gave me confidence to book our safari with him as well. We like to recommend a wonderful safari in Saadani National Park. We had the pleasure to experience this trip that was organized by Experience Zanzibar Tours and Safaris. Our guide Nestor had a broad and profound knowledge of the safari.He knew exactly when to come up with the information, and besides that he gave us ample time to look around and experience the look, smell and feel of nature and the game. He was good company and nice to talk with.Full lunch boxes were handed out at lunch time and we enjoyed a good meal at the picknic place at the view point National Park offers a lot of wildlife and is well-known for the colobus monkeys.These little animals are the mascot of the park. Whilst driving through the park we saw elefants, the zebras, giraffes, buffalos, wilde beast, antelopes etc .We strongly recommend to go there ... off you go.....and enjoy!

Mnembs island..Its a must to do when you are in Zanzibar. We even had our guide who was showing us different fish under the water, he was telling the names of all of them, whithout him I wouldnt...

WARNING!!!!!!If you wont loose a lot of money dont book here. We were 4 persons and made this fault. We lost more than 1100 Us Dollars in 6 days, because during the safari happened, that parcs and fees were not paid.We had the decision the whole safari is stopped or we had to pay cash once more.Godfrey Sawe is a deceiver and liar.Positive reviews must be fakes.

I was so looking forward to this holiday and had saved for a long time. We paid all the money cash in advance.But when we started one bad surprise came after the other.My husband and I unexpectedly lost more than 500 US Dollars because Godfrey hadnt paid the fees for the parks and partly the entry for the parks.The rented car for the safari was awful and in bad shape.

We had to pay a lot twice, because Godfrey did not pay the park entries, also we payed him for this services in advance.Office in zanzibar is a fake. Please do not trust this company and Godfrey Sawe himself. I made a Safari with him and several transfers on Zanzibar. Everything was payed in advance - a very big mistake. He is a scrupules thief and a big big liar!!! He did not pay all national park admissions and said we have to go back to Arusha, if we don‘t pay it, because he has no more money. Same with lodges.Also the Jeep was only fit for scrap.Transfers were by illegal drivers, so that you were stopped by the police.
