We had incredible client assistance and a decent taxi ride. We had eaten at Emerson Spice and were accompanied, at no charge (since we didnt have any money yet kwacha) to the shore for our boat move to another island. Upon our return we mentioned a taxi to the air terminal. It went ahead time, we were acquainted with the driver, the vehicle was perfect, the ride was acceptable, and he assisted us with advancing toward the front of the registration line - all at a very sensible rate. At whatever point we return we will work with these folks to orchestrate travel on the island and investigate his visit contributions.

Victor provides an incredible taxi service, he was always punctual and responded to WhatsApps regarding our bookings. He has great knowledge about Zanzibar, and can arrange trips easily. We used the service all weekend, his rates are much better than the airport or the hotel, and his cars are lovely and air conditioned, modern and comfortable. He took us to The Rock restaurant for a great price and waited while we had our lunch there before taking us back to the airport. I would highly recommend this service! I would definitely use again!

That was absolutely best experience one could think of. Best service ive ever received, best car rental of all those many countries I visited. No trouble, no problem. And the boss himself is extraordinary folk, helpful and easygoing so if any doubt I can swear there is no need to worry. When travelling to Zanzibar for me that was best option to rent a car and be independent. Police would stop you , yes but no worries just remember to fasten your seat belts :-)

The two times we used Zanzibar taxi the cars turned up early, the drivers were very helpful and professional and the vehicles were in good condition and very clean. It was by far the most reliable and comfortable taxi experience we had on the island and I could not recommend them more wholeheartedly. The value for money is also exceptionally good given that their prices are no more than those offered by hailing taxis locally or organised by hotels or restaurants, but with a far superior level of service.1

We cannot recommend it enough! Someone was waiting for us at the airport and handed over the car very easily. They even went with us to help us buy a Sim Card at very reasonable prices. During our trip the car started to lose some oil, unabling us to continue our journey. We called Andrew and within a bit more than 1 hour we had a new car. Very efficient and hassle free. Also very importantly, at the end of our trip we encountered a funeral of an important person in Zanzibar. We got stuck for 1h30 at 6km from the airport. We were freaking out! Bilal helped us a lot by calling the airport and making sure that there would be there someone waiting for us. He was also guiding us giving us information about the traffic jam. Thank you Andrew

I have used Zanzibar Taxi and transfers on our trip to Kenya! Their service was spot on and reliable. CouplesI booked a taxi ride from an hotel close to the airport to Matemwe. First they tried to bake the airport fee (entrance + parking) into the price of the ride even though I clearly wrote them that the departure is from a hotel NEAR the airport. Ok, they admitted their mistake and said the price was $35. A bit high but I was under the impression that this company is affiliated with Colors of Zanzibar, a reputable tour company, so I wouldnt mind paying a bit extra for getting reliable service. I got a confirmation for my booking, but the driver never showed up. We waited for an hour in the hotel lobby. We had to take the rip-off priced taxi from the hotel reception to Matemwe. Dont trust these guys.

Spotless, agreeable vehicles, consistently on schedule. Regardless of whether the plane comes exceptionally deferred, the driver actually holds up at the Airport. Any time administration is required we call Victor and get a fast answer. I suggest.

Our taxi was right on time. The price is very good compared to some of the other taxis. The taxi driver was friendly and offered some information on places we passed. The taxi itself was clean and comfortable.
