Quite disappointing. It looks a bit like a supermarket but has very limited stock. Still the best Zanzibar has to offer. Hopefully one day the South Africans will introduce proper supermarkets to Zanzibar one day as they did in Malawi and many other places.

The place is good for shoping only issue they close from 1:00 to 4:00. You need to check schedule before moving

Such a disorganized store. And the air has a smell of mixed everything.. soap, spices, foods, etc with no proper ventilation. But it does have a lot of stuff maybe too much. So if youre looking for tacky Chinese products youre bound to find it here.

Wouldve given the same place 5 stars 10 years ago. I remember getting excited as a kid going there. They used to have a HUGE area upstairs and these light-up palm trees outside. The place gives a neglected vibe nowadays. Still, the only real supermarket in Zanzibar.

The supermarket used to be very good when it started but looks like its dying. Most of the stuff (with the exception of food products) they have are old and are in bad condition.

One of the bigger supermarkets in Zanzibar Town. Nice to get some cookies and supply that is not available in your hotel. They also have a lot of international stuff. Sadly they do not sell any alcohol (Muslim Country).

The store has lots of merchandise but it is expensive. I do not think the locals shop there. Careful of bulk buying: I chose an 8 pack of Coca Cola the label in which says: 2 cans Free. On checkout I was charged for 8 cans. I argued that it was false advertising and was told the items were from Dubai and they price it that way. Absolute Cheats!Many staple items that are produced locally are much more expensive than in Europe and North America.

A bit overpriced, but they do have an extensive selection of items. If youre willing to look around, take a bit longer to look for items around town, you can save lots of cash.
