Great location. Very nice and helpful staff. The rooms are large, spacious and clean. Well-equipped kitchen - everything you need and even more, there is even a real coffee machine. You need to know that the city is noisy and you can hear it a bit in the apartment, but it did not bother us.

+ Emil is a perfect and very friendly host. The apartment is situated right inside the Darajani market. We arrived here right from the airport and at first it was shocking - so many people around, not very clean streets. But afterwards we got used to it, relaxed and felt safe. The building is 200 years old, but it was renovated. There is an elevator to this apartment. The apartment Russian Safari consists of two rooms, bathroom and kitchen. There is a kettle, iron, soap, even new toothbrushes and toothpaste. Linen is clean and fresh. Air conditioner works well. There is Netflix on the TV and it works excellent. The WiFi is very good too. Don’t forget about the uncommon sockets - not as in Europe.There is a lounge room in the Train House. We were allowed to leave the luggage there before the check in time and after the checkout. In this zone there are also different games including PlayStation and a nice terrace. Emil organised a transfer from the airport for us. The driver Alli is a nice quiet guy.- The room looks darker than in the photos. When we tried to sleep during the daytime after the airport, it was too noisy outside. But at the same time it’s so local and interesting to live near the market.There was a smell in the room, not a toilet smell, something else. At first the cleaning lady used the air refresher but the smell was back in the evening. We got used to it, but noticed later that the smell was still on our clothes afterwards.The water wasn’t always warm. The shower is right above the toilet - it’s not too bad, but something that I would prefer to know.Despite these disadvantages, we liked our stay.

By far, this is the best place to stay in Stone Town, Zanzibar. This place is a hidden gem. Our host Jessica offers top-notched concierge services that outshines even most high-end hotels. She is genuinely warm, caring, and goes above and beyond to fulfill your requests. We had groceries and laundry delivered to us weekly and that was a life saver.Train House has a recreation room on the top floor that provides games, ping pong, TV, coffee, and rooftop access. As for the unit, it was well equipped with a kitchen and all kitchenware you would need to cook a nice meal. Cleaning is offered frequently as well. Wifi is very reliable and beds are comfortable. TV has Netflix, Amazon, and many channels.If you are staying longer than a few days, this is the best value and quality you will ever find. Their entire team is very family oriented, dependable, and professional. Ive stayed in many hotels and Airbnbs, and I would say that this is what happens when people take pride in their work and do it with heart and integrity.

Right in the heart of Stone Town! The wooden windows serves as sound proofing so, it wasnt noisy. It is a beautiful place and the hosts are super nice and helpful. I enjoyed everything about it.

Everything is as beautiful as seen in the pictures and even more.Easy access to every place in Town. The hosts are ridiculously amazing. The THBA indeed feels like a second home.Cheers 🥂
