One of those restaurants you just happen to find while strolling in stone town and decide to chekc it out and instantly it becomes memorable. The food here is very tasty . The service is amazing, the location is also good the only downside hence the 3 star review is the potion!! I was soooo annoyed. I paid a lot only to he given a babys potion and then they were giggling and when they saw the look on my face when the food arrived. The waitress knew what was on my mind and she immediately said we serve white peoples potion here meaning white people dont eat much as the rest of us since they are always on a diet or have tiny abdomen...apart from that the food was really tasty...just know youll be annoyed if you are not mzungu and have a typical stomach and big appetite lol
Plan for 2hrs to eat!Just two of us. Place mostly empty. We sat down at 1pm. At 1:15pm someone came to take our order (chicken and rice). At 2:45pm the food came out. We finally got tired of waiting for the check and found a person to pay at 3:15pm and left. WOW.Even for Zanzibar, this was amazingly slow...
Its a wonderful place, great coffee, great food, great stuff and very good jazz band 😀 thanx Abdallah for your hospitality 🙏🇹🇿🇹🇳
Great Place! A must to visit in Stone Town for coffee and juices! Dont miss also the loca food menu... 5.000 shillings for a full meal! Love it!
A pleasant little cafe in central Stonetown. Good spot to rest your legs and have a cool (non-alcoholic) drink.
Great food, peaceful place in a more quiet street in Stone town.
A must for tourists in Stone Town!Relaxing place with great food and drinks! Strongly adviced!
Best lentil coconut soup!
Excellent food and language lessons in this small haven of peace in busy Stone Town. Lovely courtyard and outdoor seating under a canopy, a tree, or in the sun. Highly recommend the chicken.
Slow service, quite expensive - a normal cup tea (african pride) is 5000. The atmosphere is great though.
Their pastas are delicious!
Good place to eat with family, friends and also have a good services.

This place has a magical chef who makes art with food. If you don’t eat here you are really missing out on the best food the city and island has to offer. All topped off with amazing service. I came here two days in a row and will come back next time I’m here. Thank you for an amazing experience 😁😁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice place
We only had a drink, but we really enjoyed it. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We were given some nuts, bananas and baobab fruit. There was also extra lemon oil for the skin in case the mosquitoes should bite. Overall, we like the relaxed vibe in the middle of busy Stone Town.
As a restaurant it is very weak. The friendliness of an employee is not enough. Poorly cooked food and almost non-existent on the plate. Even during the day it is full of mosquitoes and the customer is really bitten. The fruit juices are good but really the place is to be avoided.
To avoid absolutelyI want to eat a king fish, the waitress assures me when I arrive that it is available. After 15 minutes and starting to consume the drinks, she tells me there are more.So I order, like my wife, tiger shrimp pasta which is normally medium in size.We receive a pasta dish with 4 softened and cut shrimps which also do not seem to be fresh.I express my dissatisfaction, and say that it is not worthy and not worth 18,000 schilling (10 dollars). The boss comes at the end of the meal, regardless of what we had on the plate and says that everything was normal .... so avoid this address is advice.
Being half Italian and half Tanzanian for me this place is practically a double house. From pasta to traditional Tanzanian dishes, this is absolutely a place not to be missed!
Great shady place in the heart of Stone Town ...Offers space for many guests and is much more than just a cafe ... !! Very courteous staff .. hand washing area with sink installed .. !!
I didnt like the cafe. They forgot to bring part of the order, no coffee and tea. But clouds of mosquitoes. Water to wash your hands only from a jug
Really good and fresh coffee!excellent service
