We rented a car for 1 week (toyota rav4) and we had a perfect experience with these guys.They were very professionnal (you need to rech them with whatsapp they are very reactive - not by email), always on time, very flexible regarding the pickup/return location, the car was clean and in good shape and we had a tablet with local music in the car which was a good surprise.I can only recommend to rent your car (and probably any other service) with them

If I could give more than 5 stars to Z’Trans, I would. I wholeheartedly recommend Z’Trans for your car rental. The customer service is excellent. Communication was smooth and quick. We literally got more than we paid for. Everything was set up via a convenient & fast communication on WhatsApp. They also took care of my international driver’s license prior to arrival. The experience with Z’Trans was so great that we voluntarily left our praises & referral with the owners of our accommodation for future guests. He went out of his way to make sure we had the car charger for the car, and was already at the Ferry when we landed with the car & keys ready. He helped us get local money & get to the market for snacks for the road when we arrived. He also helped us find souvenirs for our family & friends, gave us a tour of stone town, & made sure we got our return ferry tickets in time to be able to make our flight. He has such a wealth of knowledge about the history of the area. We plan to return to Zanzibar and will without a doubt rebook with Z’Trans on our next trip. This business deserves your custom!The team works hard, are professional, patient, punctual and very competitively priced.FREE WiFi in their taxis was a plus.Their communication is also excellent.We reserved a taxi to collect us from Zanzibar airport and we were delighted to see our name on Sayeeds board after such a long flight.Sayeed, Mr Bilal and the other drivers were careful when negotiating the busy traffic and bumpy roads.... we felt safe at all times.We continued to use Ztrans through out our 3 week stay for day trips and tours around Zanzibar.

That was absolutely best experience one could think of. Best service ive ever received, best car rental of all those many countries I visited. No trouble, no problem. And the boss himself is extraordinary folk, helpful and easygoing so if any doubt I can swear there is no need to worry. When travelling to Zanzibar for me that was best option to rent a car and be independent. Police would stop you , yes but no worries just remember to fasten your seat belts :-)

We cannot recommend it enough! Someone was waiting for us at the airport and handed over the car very easily. They even went with us to help us buy a Sim Card at very reasonable prices. During our trip the car started to lose some oil, unabling us to continue our journey. We called Bilal and within a bit more than 1 hour we had a new car. Very efficient and hassle free. Also very importantly, at the end of our trip we encountered a funeral of an important person in Zanzibar. We got stuck for 1h30 at 6km from the airport. We were freaking out! Bilal helped us a lot by calling the airport and making sure that there would be there someone waiting for us. He was also guiding us by giving us information about the traffic jam. Thank you Bilal!

The customer ratings and the very competitive prices listed on the ZTRANS website convinced me to get in touch via whatsapp.The contact with the boss, Bilal, was simple and user-friendly. Quick confirmation (by whatsapp then by e-mail) of transfers to and from Zanzibar airport but also a full day of excursions for my family and me.Once there, everything went perfectly! Bilal did not always ensure the transfers and entrusted them to his collaborator Mohamed, very friendly and excellent driver. Bilal, however, remained in constant contact with us and always made sure in real time of our satisfaction.The transfers were made very punctual, vehicles very clean and in good condition. The visit to Stone Town was very well organized (French speaking guide made available to us as requested) as was the transfer to The Rock Restaurant. Amazing service!!! Great People!!I connected with Bilal via Whatsapp prior to our arrival in Zanzibar. Travelling with my wife and kids, I was hoping this gentleman I had never met would be at the airport. Not only was he there but he had a friendly smile and a sign welcoming us. I knew instantly I had made the right decision hiring these guys. Mohammad was our driver, drove us to our hotel in Jambiani. After only minutes of meeting Mohammad and how easy Bilal was to communicate with, I knew we were hiring them for all our excursions and transport on the island. The van was clean, roomy and great AC. The service provided was amazing!! Excursions were fantastic!! During our stay in Zanzibar I became sick and required a trip to the hospital. I rented a Suzuki Escudo for 6 days, the car was in good condition I didnt have any problems. He gave me the best price, I appreciated to rent that car from ztrans. Bilal is really kind and he organized my drivers permit for Thr Island, if you need rent a car, he is the right person in Zanzibar.

Dont know about taxi but the car renting service is not worth it. If you need a car for few days dont risk your money with this guy. He take your money and have HIDDEN COST for bring you the car. The best scenario for you is to refund your money if you threaten him and destroy your mood. With few extra dollar there are lot of good companies out here. As everywhere cheap price follows poor service. STAY AWAY

Mr.Bilal is a honest and very helpful man. He just made our trip to zanzibar very relaxed and special. He attends to every customers needs. His pricing are the best in the whole of zanzibar as i spoke to about 10 people for tours. Surely recommend him.

We used Ztrans for the third time today and it was by far the best experience yet. We went to snorkel at Mnemba Island. We were incredibly lucky as when we got there our captain took us out to see the dolphins. We even had the opportunity to swim with them. What a fantastic experience! We then spent the rest of the time snorkeling. The captain gave us food to give to the fishes. 100s of them came to us and ate out of our hands. Overall a our best day in Zanzibar so far. Thank Ztrans and especially our driver who was with us for every trip. Thank you for always being available when we ask questions Bilal. We definetely recommend ztrans!

For the second time, with a break of a year, I rented a car from these guys. Everything is smooth and stable: they met me at the airport, gave me a car and a permit, and two weeks later they picked me up at the airport. No problems and a great price tag: a 7-seater Toyota Alfard on the machine came out at $ 37 a day. On my advice, my friend took the car from them, his car had problems with the electrics, they promptly brought a new car to replace it, everything is ok. I also organized boat trips with snorkeling, sandbank and lobsters for lunch several times through these guys - everything is fine and the price is 30-40% less than similar offers from other organizers. Great guys! Definitely recommend!

I recommend this company. Everything is clear with them. I took the car from 12/21/21. for 5 days, while pirits and delivery to the hotel is free. On the second day, around 20 oclock, the condo began to junk. On a call, after 40 minutes the car was replaced. We were 80 km from the hotel. Further, through vatsap, the lease was extended by 1 day, also without problems. Clocked 918 km. I am very pleased with this company.

Take a car from them, do not be afraid, they work well, cars are all normal, especially with regard to these places. We delayed the car a little, gave it back later, they waited and did not even take an additional fee.I recommend to everyone!

I rented a 4/4 for a week via Ztrans (given the state of the roads, this is the most appropriate vehicle).The whole transaction was done by whats up.Bilal, the owner, took care of obtaining me the local license and made me bring the vehicle to the place and at the appointed time that I had indicated to him ..The vehicle was not new but in good working order. There has been no inventory and Bilal does not seem very eye-catching.I did, however, share some remarks with whats up.The insurance is included and the different macaroons are on the windshield.I paid cash on receipt of the vehicleI returned to the airport on my departure as heard with Bilal, the empty tank as he had given me.During the rental period, Bilal contacted me to see if everything went well.He is very professional and pro-active.He responds very quickly to your messages.It is an integrated person. We can trust him.I highly recommend it !.

I recomande ztrans for everyone who goes á Zanzibar they are very serious they waited for me at the airport a nice, air-conditioned car. And back to the airport they are punctual. They came to the hotel on time and the driver also helped us.
