Owner is helpful and can do whatever you like, to your design, within 24h. I have bought a coin cut half with names first letters (me and my wife) engraved. Simple, but very unique and not too pricey. We paid only 28 USD for two bracelets.

My daughter gave me a gift of earrings which she bought on holiday in Zanzibar recently. Sadly, and unknown to her, I lost one😥 I emailed the Coin Shop and Sissy was fantastic. Absolutely in love with my bracelet, Sissy and her husband did an awesome job drawing on the coin i chose the picture i sent them and cutting it out!!!They are so talented!!I recommend them with all my heart because what they make with coins is not just a jewel but pure art!Definitely worth a visit if in Zanzibar, if not they ship worldwide and getting in contact with Sissy is very easy, she is a lovely woman!!I spoke with her on the phone, i sent the photo i wanted done through WhatsApp,we designed it together and i had my bracelet shipped to UK with a courier; it was with me in exactly a week time!I will never stop thanking them for their amazing job!!

I was fortunate enough this summer to do some volunteer work in Zanzibar, and I have been searching for something that can remind me of everyone and everything over there (I am from the states)... and then I came across The Coins Shop online. The first time I purchased something from the Coins Shop was in 2012 and Im still wearing my beautiful necklace every day (along with a few other additions)! Ive received so many compliments on this and so have my friends and family I have given them as gifts to, or so I hear! I love The Coin Shop. Whereas most of the other stores in Stonetown just sell the usual plastic souvenirs OR are just extremely expansive, Sissy & Familys shop is unique. And so are their products: I got a spoon bracelet I still wear with pride and get compliments for. I also gave them a Euro coin and within a day or so, theyd made something great out of it. Whenever I can I tell people to visit the shop or get a great gift online.

I have been buying products from the coins shop since 2014. So far the owners, Sisi and Phamilli have designed me two necklaces, a bracelet and a ring. They offer the great service to customize your coins. All you have to do is simply tell them how you want the coin to look like and which coin from their selection you want to have. They create the coin for you within a very short amount of time.I especially enjoy the fact that this kind of a souvenir is very unique. I have never seen a souvenir shop like this anywhere in the world. So once you have something from there you can almost be certain that not many besides you wear some this kind of jewellery!Sisi and Phamilli are very friendly and honest people who have put all their creativity into their coins and the shop! I was fortunate to fine this unique shop that combines art with history, to create something so sentimental. I had a hard time choosing which piece I wanted...so many of the items interested me. But Phamilly (the founder) walked me through the items and what they represented, then he asked me where was I from? I told him, “I’m a country girl from South Carolina.” He told me he believed he had a SC quarter and he would go check his coins. Sure enough, to my greatest joy, he did have a SC quarter. He did a cut-out of the continent Africa on the SC quarter and I was immediately in love with this timeless piece, which now meant so much to me. Thank you, Phamily

An interesting idea is to make jewelry from coins. It’s a little strange that in a store with this name there are no sets of coins for numismatists - they probably wander there from time to time!
