We had a fantastic first SUP experience with 2 Winds Paddle Sports Zanzibar. The location was absolutely beautiful and the guides extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back for another tour on our next holiday!

We have really enjoyed our little sup journey in mangroves, a once in a life time experience! We swam into the depth of the forest first, and then we went closer to the sea, where the route was less evident and therefore more adventures. Our instructor told us about the mangrove forest, how it grows in salted water - some amazing staff. He also explained us how the landscape would change when the tide was low. Eventually we got to the front side of the forest and paddled along it enjoying beautiful views and the sunset. Then we had a nice rest - we got off the boards and swam until the sun was down. That was a moment Id never forget - peaceful, charming, magical... When we arrived back to the base, we had a shower and had a wonderful dinner (I just cant call it snacks - there were so much fruits, homemade cookies, popcorn and more!) - all on the terrace with a stunning sea view. I should also mention that the 2 Winds team had arranged a driver for us, and we had managed to visit the Jozani Forest on our way to the padding tour. Thus we had a full day filled with fantastic emotions, one to remember for many years to come.

I had a fantastic afternoon out paddle boarding, having done it before it was great to pick up tips where I struggled. It’s a beautiful location to paddle board, unlike anything and I learnt lots about the mangroves and their importance. They were fab hosts with nothing being to much trouble! I Would highly recommend this for both newbies and experienced paddle boarders.

This was a brilliant tour! Arsheen met us very hospitably. First of all, the host made a brief about the stand up paddle. If you think that it is easy to use stand up paddle - you will be surprised once you step on a deck :) Our tour starts from basic training on some kind of harbor where there were no waves at all. Then we went through the open ocean to the mangroves. The mangroves were amazing. It was like swimming at the top of a tropical forest. We even went through the mangrove thickets. Arsheen is a professional in the stand up paddling, so she even made some photos of us without waterproof cases. This is so much better than photos than I made with a waterproof case. After the tour, we were offered homemade snacks in the backyard. It was very romantic to watch the sunset near the ocean. I definitely recommend that tour to everyone who is visiting Zanzibar. Mangroves were even better than in the Jozani forest. Also, the host helped us with the transfer from the Nungwi. The taxi had a fixed price and driver was very friendly.

Just amazing!First, the SUP experience its very great. For begginer, the team give us good practice. The tour its beautiful, you go in the sea, in the mangrove. Its very calm you can heard animals.After, Josh and his team are very friendly. They make your tour easier with good vibes!Finally, take the supplements foot and drink. The food his home made and you can eat seeing the sunset... No words for that.Thanks a lot Josh, keep going :)

Fantastic spot!

Our SUP-rise will undoubtedly remain one of our fondest memories in Zanzibar. Everything was perfect, we were very well received by Arsheen and his guide (Stephano) who are adorable. We had an extraordinary time, discovering Zanzibar at sunrise, when there is still no one there, allowed us to really enjoy the place and admire the magnificent view. Thank you very much for this moment, we will never forget this fantastic experience!
