Loved the place, the ambience! Scenery, and fresh air, let alone the set up! Super hospitable stuff, Ill not mention how perfect the food was. We had a function hence had a buffet! Everything was fresh! And delicious! I Gave you a 5 for having sanitary package in the ladies room.The managers Daniel and Kevin where there the entire time to look out and make sure everyone was confortableDef. Coming back for a vacation!

Whenever I am working safaris in Arusha, I stay at Rivertrees.The beautiful garden is pure Zen: peaceful and beautiful to look at with a kaleidiscope variety of plants and trees.I love staring at the troops of 3 different monkey species jumping around between the branches.The food is always delicious and the staff go out of their way to make every day here especially charming. Theres simply no better place to chill :-) I also enjoyed checking out the area on their bike and canoeing tours.

It is 3-star hotel but i rated it five star, it is very affordable, the place is crucial to keep mind fresh and focused to the future. Welcome Rivertrees Country Inn to feel to most comfort. You may Book wherever youre thats show its strength to the growing technology

Really enjoyed our stay here and wished we were able to spend another night. The location is absolutely beautiful, the staff was very welcoming, beautiful room and bathroom. We had a great time at the bar trying out wine and beer and left after a delicious breakfast buffet.

Its a beautiful natural environment. The room was clean and a good size. I wasnt impressed with the monkeys jumping on the roof of my room at 6am in the morning 😔 and restaurant was over priced.

Rivertrees is an oasis and a relaxing getaway! The food and drinks were good, and the trees and the restaurant staff were lovely. However, there is room for improvement. My girlfriend and I got pedicures, which were the worst pedicures I have ever received. Understandably so, they outsource this service but they should work on who they hire or train them. We were still hopefully and all four of us got massages, again, the masseuses had no strength. We literally just paid to get oil rubbed on us. Clearly the manager is a good sales man! Getting a hold of the front desk is also a bit of a hassle as you have to walk to reception or call from your phone (a bit of an inconvenience as an international traveler). Oh, also always look down as there are mean ants all around. All that said, would I stay at Rivertrees again? YES! The rooms are bright, I love the sound of the river, and it was a great escape.

Very nice lodge.Rooms are spacious, clean and bed is comfortable.The restaurant is great, they have really good pizza and a good atmosphere.We didnt try any of the activities they offer, but they can organize anything you want.

This place is on the riverside and huges trees on riverside.Nice and calm place to enjoy your meal.They have the best pizza in Arusha..And specially on Saturday and Sunday you can enjoy barbeque menus..Theyve Saturday farmers Market which promotes sale of local products like honey, coffee and fresh vegetables and fruits.

Live music was great. Food was delicious but took a while to get. We went for a Birthday meal but there were no desserts available. We told the waiter about the birthday but noone came to sing as in the past, possibly because the restaurant is getting going again after Covid 19.

The restaurant & the outside tables are very pleasant, peaceful and comfortable. The food is good but unimaginative. The first Sunday of the month features live music & an outdoor BBQ which is tasty.

The first time I go there it was 2019 I see was good but I go there to day I seet at restaurant it was moring time 11.24 I order the food the laidy tould me now lunch is not ready you can wait a minute I say oky so I ordered hot chocolate she give me I drink after I tell her give me my billl I need to pay and leave because I get appointment she say to me hook if u want to go pay 10000 I asked her for what she tould its rules of here If u sweet restaurant and u not eat food you have to pay 10000 I say to her I dont knw that I drink hot chocolate so I pay my bill and leave I fill so bad there to day

Just the perfect place. We had the villa at the water. Super friendly staff and every wish that you have they will help you with. The neighborhood is very nice with the water and monkeys in the trees. The food at the restaurant wooow!! have a drink at the fire. or walk around or sit outside your villa and listen to the water and watch the stars with a drink

We went here for a birthday lunch and not only did they charge us corkage for bringing in a cake (this was fine but they should put a notice on their website so people are aware), they also didnt allow us to use the pool as its for guests only. Also the place had an old colonial feel to it which made us feel a little uncomfortable. Even though the food was good, the overall experience wasnt worth enough for us to go back.

I only went here for dinner and the food was mostly European with very good quality. I also took a walk around the area and it was so beautiful. I would love to visit this place again and stay here for some days if I visit Tanzania again in the future.

Great ambience and good coffee. A nice place to sit around and relax. Pizza is really fantastically done, wood fired with good amounts of toppings, lots of cheese. Definitely worth trying!

Picture perfect location with tremendously friendly staff. Rooms were elegant with all the required amenities, including WiFi. Monkeys roam the grounds but they are harmless and entertaining to watch. Out of all the hotels we visited during our safari trip, this was by far the best. Definitely worth visiting again.

River trees is a beautiful lodge and open air restaurant. The pizza is quite good and the rest of the menu very good. They have a pool. You may enjoy seeing wildlife like colour monkeys and blue monkeys. As well different birdsong small mammals. Lovely gardens and they grow their own veggies.

Stayed here as part of a safari booking. Restaurant stayed open late as they knew people had arrived late at the airport. The included meal was really amazing and everyone was very nice.

A nice place to stay. Food is nothing special, but okay. If you fill the bath tub, you will run out of hot water before you have filled up the tub. Their coffee plantation tour is good.

Just reviewing the dining experience..Here 4 Xmas lunch opted for a burger and not the special buffet. Service was slow and we had to ask multiple times for utensils, napkins etc..fries were a let down and the burger was too undercooked..and lacked the juiciness and flavor of a premium burger.Views and ambience is fantastic!!

Rivertrees Country Inn was a great first stop on our adventure into Tanzania. We had flown in pretty late into JRO so we spent the night nearby at Rivertrees. The staff was very kind and accommodating and our mini cottage was clean and comfortable. If we stayed for more than a night, we definitely could have enjoyed the grounds more, which are full of unique vegetation and birds. The communal breakfast and dinner accommodations were lovely and the food was very good. Thank you, River Trees, for a great introduction into Africa!

Spent one night here in transit to Serengeti. A lovely lodge. Very natural surroundings with lots of little monkeys in the vicinity. Was lovely to watch them playing in the trees around the rooms. Would highly recommended this place.

Super luxury hotel close to a really poor area. I was living around the area for some months and I confess it was a good place to go and take a european coffee and some european desserts which isnt so common in the country.

My son and I lodged there in 2017, the staff were gracious and the lodge was beautiful
