We enjoyed our week-long stay. The overall atmosphere was great! The staff was kind and very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and were beautifully designed and decorated. The grounds were well kept with tropical flowers, plants, and fruit trees. Theres a nice walking path that runs along a river. The food was good with descent portions. They make the best ginger and lemongrass tea which, they picked fresh everyday. We higly recommend Kilimanjaro Eco Logde and will definitely stay again.

We stayed here for one night, enough to really appreciate all services. Room are immersed in the nature and are very clean. The personnel is beautiful. Peter is the receptionist that try to accomplish all your request always with a smile.The food are great. We have a dinner (good chicken and potato) and a large breakfast with international and local food... We really appreciated all and we suggest to stay here.

Amazing Honeymoon LocationMy Wife and I spent 5 days at this Lodge for our honeymoon. The lodge has beautiful gardens and luxurious room with superb views of the Mount Meru. Immaculately clean and tidy. All the staff were helpful, friendly it was an amazing stay, especially for people like us. I do recommend every one using this lodge

The rooms were impeccably clean and lovely. Extremely spacious and comfortable. Food was phenomenal. Finally the staff are incredibly helpful and nice. I wish I would have stayed a couple of more nights!

Nice place, cheerful staff and good service. A mosquito net over the bed would make it just right. They have a bar but the variety of drinks they offer is not large. Local beers can be bought, though.

The Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge is a wonderful place to stay with a great view on Mt Meru. On arrival you are immediately helped and all your baggage is taken to the rooms immediately. There are two young ladies preforming most of the service. They are incredibly happy to help but at the same time not too bothering. Sadly there is always a language barrier as long as one does not speak some Swahili. If one has troubles feeling comfortable, you can always ask the manager or the owner of the place. Both speak great English and will be happy to help with any language barriers or issues.Besides the service, the food is also amazing. We stayed for two nights and both times I ordered the chicken menu at dinner. Instead of having exactly the same two times in a row, I was served the same delicious chicken filet but each time with different salad, fries or potatoes, different soup and a different desert, making the food very diverse and nevertheless always very delicious.As this hotel is in Africa, you must excuse times without electricity (it will usually come back within a few hours and while it is gone, you can take a walk around and enjoy the place)They have also now installed mosquito nets over all beds although it is not even quite necessary as there are little to none (mosquitos) in the area, which allows for great time sitting on the balcony of the dining room with great view on Mt Meru, without having to bother with insects.The rooms are very clean and sometimes there is even hot water (in case there isnt: ask if you need any and they will heat it up)All in all a great place to stay with good service, great view and environment, nice and helpful staff and it is also very nice to go Arusha national park as it is only a few hundred meters up the road. Therefore a 5🌟 rating and I would definitely recommend staying at Kilimanjaro eco lodge for some nights. 😊

Worst experience ever...rude, unhelpful manager/owner. Would advise people to rather book at Mount Meru up the road as this is where we ended up after leaving Kilimanjaro Eco Lodge at 8:30pm as we still had no water and were then shown a room where beds had no sheets and while there was water it was cold. After more than a two hour wait for a room i asked for a discount and was told I could get a 100% discount and not sleep there.
