The biggest lobster I have ever eaten in Zanzibar 🦞Nice local restaurant directly on the beach 🏖 perfect place to eat seafood but you can also try some other local meals from the menu. We got so much food that we were not able to finish all. In the end you get a plate with fresh fruits. You can pay only cash here.I can recommend!Thank you 😊

We had medium lobster and prawns. Both were cooked excellent. The side dish the mixed vegetables were tasty. We can recommend this place to all who loves seafood in very good form.E en the food is much better then in a lot of restaurants and hotels arround.Hans Erich Lorke

Small regional restaurant, not comparable to the quality of the surrounding multi-star resort restaurants. You sit on plastic chairs with dirty tablecloth. The menu selection is limited or out of stock. The price is at least twice as high as in the surrounding restaurants and the quality cannot compete. (Lunch: Fish fillet (cheapest food in Zanzibar) with tomato bell pepper sauce and side rice, some papaya, 2 coconuts - per person $ 23.50 - .... for comparison: next to it are several top resort restaurants with nice and clean ambience, good service: lunch with often free appetizer: freshly made exotic fruit juice, rice, mixed vegetables, fish/meat: $12-15.- )In this restaurant: at the beginning the waiter shows only non-inviting photos of the food with no prices - at the end comes the surprise at the bill. Ask for the prices beforehand - because whoever does this will probably not eat there!

Visited January 2021$25 seafood platter with both cicada, lobster, fish slice and 6 shrimps was nicely presented. However the seating area needs a refresh on both style & cleanliness. A better coziness vs other venues nearby would be instrumental in much higher trafic! Friendly welcome by Zanzibari-Italian speaking owner, local retail hustler (owns shops nearby too).

Absolutely delicious local seafood- fresh and tasty! Fish catch daily by the owner - you can’t get better than that :-) Try and you will just come for more+free WiFi ;-)

We received the worst service here and we were completely overcharged. This place charged three times the amount for the same food compared to the other restaurants in the area.

Absolute cheek of the store. $25 for the worst seafood platter in all of Zanzibar. Beer at $3 also more expensive than any surrounding hotel.I dont quite understand how the rating and pictures of the other reviews came about. We were served a small amount of poorly cooked and unseasoned fish and shellfish on paper plates. Everything completely loveless and tasteless prepared.So there may have been a recent change of owner or chef, but at this time I cannot recommend the restaurant.

The food is pretty careless and unseasoned.Price-performance does not go together at all.I have never paid so much for sooo bad food in Zanzibar. About 8 prawns with bowels 25 dollars and half of them werent fresh.We left disappointed.It was not possible to have a conversation with the owner, because every time he saw people walking by he was there to lure them either into his shop or restaurant.Jaaaaa dont use the toilet !!!!!!!!!!The only positive thing is the beach location.Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience.

Beach cafe next to Urea Bay Beach Resort (50 meters north of the beach). Hospitable host Mr. Nimi-Nami. Option one - a set of seafood (lobsters, tuna, shrimp, octopus, squid) with fries, a plate of fruit + a drink of your choice: cola, water, beer for $ 25 or 60,000 Tsh. You can easily eat 2 large men. Tables right on the beach, plastic chairs. Polish, Russian and Swiss flags.

Very good seafood, the restaurants specialty is a set of seafood for $ 25, it can be eaten by 2 or even 3 people. A plate of rice and a plate of homemade fries as well as a drink (water, sprite, beer or wine - one choice) for the price. Full set in the picture

Very simple local restaurant right on the beach. The specialty is seafood. A large plate of MIX seafood or octopus, shrimps, squid, lobster for $ 25 with extras. Fortunately, Sanepid does not look here much. An interesting culinary experience based on the original cuisine of foreigners. For many, certainly a better alternative to a hotel mass bulb.

I was there 2 weeks Ago, very friendly service, for 25 USD I was full of seafood, and even the owner took care of Polish music played hits Lady Pank, worth a visit!
