First of all I dont get it why they call it a beach resort while there is no beach. Its a bit misleading. Although its next to the ocean but surrounded with trees and rocks you can not see the ocean water from the public area.The facilities are ok. Not so great but ok.The customer service needs a professional training. They do treat customers well. I was treated well on my visits. Its just they dont know how to handle a customer for example. I wanted a place to seat and work where I could get a cup of coffee the waiters were focusing on placing me when I can easily order their buffet breakfast and lunch. And that was not my intention kept asking over and over. Had to move few places to get a place with a socket.

Me and my family went over for supper. The food was super delicious and the service was excellent as well. Loved the live band and surroundings. The whole experience was excellent.

Went for the pool, its decent, but not a beach resort at all since you cant go to the beach (also you dont want to, its miserable) 8.000tsh pp to use it.

Not worth the charges.The place is stuffy, some weird smell everywhere.Pillows and pillow covers stained.No chair in the room, you have no control over the AC, no remote, you have to switch it on and off manually. Water heating very unpredictable.

LOTS OF DETAILS TO SORT OUT!Theres not much choice in Tanga. The staff are generally nice and charming.Food was OK but inconsistent. At breakfast we always had to ask them to bring out items they were slow with or had forgotten. Butter. Spoons to stir the juice. Salt and pepper dispenses seemed to be a rare currency.Most nights there was an event in the garden and / or around the pool. These were always VERY noisy. Pool parties or corporate events etc all with loud music. The sound proofing in the rooms was poor. Huge and good TVs but the channel options were pathetic. The gym is small and basic, but enough for a short stay.

I don t suggest anyone to go there because there is theft in this hotel! It is most probably organised one. In summer time we were in the city for humanitarian aid program and we stayed in this hotel. However and unfortunately, around 2100 usd had been stolen from three persons steel safes and purse! Yes! Our moneys had been stolen from the steel safes in our rooms! With struggling on the issue, we could take back our moneys.

Fabulous, a palce where visitors of all ages can enjoy.Enough parking, vast garden for kids and adults to enjoy, horse riding, swings, swimming pool for adults and children, bar and reataurants, free WiFi, live band to name the few.

The hotel, garden and pool look lovely, it is very well maintained. Rooms are spacious with nice beds. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very kind. We arrived after a long journey and were kind of tired. Unfortunately we had some issues with the A-C, and it took the staff some time to shift us to another room (it wasn’t a fixable problem). Only this room was not properly cleaned. I would expect more from a hotel like this, especially because it is expensive to stay here. But besides this, we had a pleasant stay!

Very slow service. We had to look for waiters everytime we need more drinks and the place was not even that busy. After getting the bill we waited for half an hour and never got our change until we went inside to ask for it.

Best ambience you can get in Tanga. Nice cup of espresso. The price of hotel rooms start in the upwards of 250,000 tzs. I didnt get to sample them but I believe they meet that high price tag

The room was not upto standardAll broken elements was very well visible. TV was extremely small size. Service was not so good. Waiters are untrained. Was not value for money paid. Music was very loud till midnight on saturday.

Great place to relax in Tanga. The staff and Managers are very friendly. You feel at home whilst there. We always go back each year. The pool is very clean and opens very early in the morning, so you can enjoy swimming quietly. The managers are always there to assist and make you feel at home

Tanga Beach Resort is by miles the best hotel Ive stayed in out of the few Ive been to in this region. Away from city noise, this place has been built to be beautiful, comfortable and eco friendly.

Its an amazing resort, its near the beach up stairs you can see the ocean and the mangroves around the shore, it has a a big swimming pool, a playground for kids, places to eat and drink... Tasty food they have a good staffing, it has a spa and a fitness center, parking and CCTV cameras everywhere so you are secure.

Place was OK. Pool not so big and food was average. The staff did not understand when I tried to explain about allergies, and served me food even if I did not get clarified if my meal was glutenfree. I ate it anyway and did not get sick.

It was just about OK when I went there. But the staff hardly spoke English and didnt understand what I was asking for. It took 3 people to finally have one fluent in English. And the pool was closed but nobody seemed to be able to answer why... The food was also OK but nothing special for the price you pay.

Nice hotel and clean

If you are in Tanga and you want Nice Views from a hotel room, this is the best hotel to stay in. The staff are friendly too. The only disadvantage is the beach is not accessible though their is a large swimming pool to quench your swimming thirst.

Tanga Beach Resort. Good although the service for breakfast is wanting. If you are in a hurry dont take breakfast. Otherwise an ok place to be. They need to fix the lift button. In my room the AC was just above my head and leaked water and blew cold on my head

Except food this place is ok. I used to use the gym for 2 years and you are going to surprise to hear that this gym is the beat one in Tanga. Anyway it was fine.Food in the resort are expensive and not worth paying it. However you will get paid off when you see nice ocean view.

Its a very beautiful place to stay. Its very comfortable, good services, beautiful rooms and bathroom. the food is so yummy. The environment is so friendly. The gym and the swimmingpool are in good shape but the equipment at the plagground are already run down. I greatly recommend anyone who visit Tanga.
