We liked the hotel, its affordable, the staff is very friendly, its located next to bus station. Shower had very hot water and good pessure. Brand new rooms. I would suggest to pay attention to the bed in room 104, it made noise everytime you move. I liked the beef stew but the steak was not good at all. This place could improve a little bit but average is good.

The small family-run hotel is very tidy and clean, its close to every thing you would need in tanga. Justin can do a great bike city tour, he will also suggest a beautiful beaches to swim its just 10-15 minutes by bicycle. He offers a free of charge pick up from the bus station when you arrive in Tanga. Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Good value for money. Located in a quiet place. Easily accessible by car and google maps. Rooms are abit small, but exactly what you expect at the price. Rooms between $17 to $22. Hot water and Airconditioning works fine.

I stayed at Phillen Hotel for 1 week it was the best stayed I ever find in Tanzania because the price was really good and the breakfast was great Justin helped me alot in Tanga I absolutely recommend this hotel.
