Afternoon enjoyment of the outdoor dinning area. For some great chipsi mayai (beaten eggs over french fries) and fresh pineapple juice. Nice size portions and price is fair. Right on the main road next to the entrance of the port. There is security and they personnel takes good care of one. Make sure you plan in some time since everything is freshly made.

The store has almost all you need, nice arrangement and descriptions... The price not much higher although it differ to other. It has nice bucket and trolley for your kids including children games. Parking is there, enough for customers and full security, INAPENDEZA

I liked the place but they are so relaxed in terms of customer care. I think its because theres other competitors in Tanga. Some of common important products are not availble

Nkwabi has the advantage of accepting credit and debit cards. It also stay open into the evening and is open on Sundays. There is also an in-house butchery, which has a somewhat better selection of cut - though the quality is typical of Tanzanian beef. It has no lamb/mutton,. As far as I can tell it also wont supply pork. As for it range of general goods, it is limited in scope, but pretty much on par with the other supermarkets in Tanga. Which are themselves limited. In short, Mkwabi is a useful quick stop supermarket, which is open after hours and accepts cards. It also has a restaurant (limited range, but with the only T-bone steak in town - WHEN they are prepared to actually serve it. You might have to be adamant.) The restaurant also serves decent cappuccino.

Average market. Ice cream repeatedly thawed and frozen. I do not recommend it.

Didn’t get a chance to use the supermarket, but the look of it from outside it seems as a good shopping place, not enough parking but the area is not always jammed with traffic.
