Beautiful historic hotel. Lots of potential for future renovations. 120k suite, 80k for standard deluxe. Budget 50k. The food is okay and basic. However the space is amazing

It was my sister birthday so we celebrate d it there,we captured some pictures though the light was not clear because of the darkness out there,it was so beautiful and perfect we really enjoyed it

Perfect & cool place for weekend getaway

Front office staff and Housekeeping are so helpful. Food is amazing here, quite and relaxing place.Price is also reasonable and Negotiable.I promise to return back.

Its an oki hotel. Staff is friendly. Dinner options were good. Breakfast is not bad. The room I stayed the hot water wasnt working perfectly. In general its oki for a few nights stay if you are travelling

Charming historic hotel with lots of character. Sadly has lost a lot of business in recent years due to lack of investment in Tabora and of course Covid had hoped so on hard times. It will revive.

No more swimming pool as of 24th Apr 2021, but they have great foods, drinks and the air is fresh, good for chilling!!

It used to be the best hotel in Tabora Town, with very nice surroundings and service. I think it has lost that crown. They need to pull up the socks.I love their bar and posters around the bar area, hilarious.

Very old hotel and not really cared to maintain. The function hall behind drives you crazy with lot of sound especially during weekends and wedding times. The chef is good food is nice.

The hotel is good. Built in colonial times. Not all the rooms are updated the same but are decent. The biggest disappointment is the breakfast. No variety and stale fruits and bread. Its a disappointment at this price range.

Great place to stay. Safe parking and delicious curries for dinner in the restaurant (make sure to order early). Clean and comfy

Nice Place To Sleep And Restaurant

Old school cool. Probably the best place in Tabora to stay at. Room was huge and the bed was nice. Aircon would have been nice though for the room rate. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, even packed us a breakfast because we left early the next morning. Secure parking.There is a bar/restaurant attached that does play really loud music till late - would have been nice if i had more energy after a long days drive to enjoy it.

This is Tabora, end of the line, so dont expect too much. But great old hotel, rooms are fine, ensuite but we did not have hot water, others did. Food was fine, good curries. Enjoy Tabora.

Tabora hotel or orion tabora hotel is the only one which can boast about historical existance with its old colonial type architecture. Dont expect anything great in the service and amenities. It is fit for the area who needs a decent accomodation touchbasing tabora. Has a very good internet connection, over and above it offers a noce morning with warm cool fresh air which fills up your lungs with eternity. Historicaly built by the germans, later occupied by the british, the walls wont be having much to say since it was never occupied in the way it needed to be. Earlier it was under tanzanian railway, but now it is owned by a private group called orion. No etiquities of a pompous hospitality, but staffs will smile if you smile at them.

Romantic place

In 2005 I stayed in Tabora Hotel for 7 months. At that time the environments in this place was different compared to now. One thing that impressed me right now is the decision of the mgt to remove live band which was playing outside to entertain customers but it was a very big disturbance to other costomers who were staying in the hotel. I also ask the mgt of Tabora Hotel to put aircondions in the room which will make customers comfortable especially during hot season

For Tabora region, it is cool, secured and very cool! Recomendable
