Make sure to visit this Place. Plenty of history about 2 years (1905-1907) Germany battles against rebellion of the African people in what is now found in Southern Tanzania. The war was based on magic water ideological believe that changed the ruling tactical of Germans in Africa.

Its a historical site where by several local chiefs and their subordinates were killed by German colonial rulers whom rebelled against them as they were forced to pay taxes of which they were not happy to do so, they were hanged four of them at par.But one stood out his name was Nduna Songea Mbano he was sub-chief and he had special powers, they tried to hang him three times and the rope did not sustain so they shot him and later on beheaded him and took his head to German to date his skull remains there.

Learned a lot about my roots in this historical site.

This was a war called Maji Maji War of 1905-1907.Display weapons originals that were used during the war together with various ethnography material of Nguni people

We had a better moment with my kids, class five pupils from Chipole primary school. We learnt many things that we didnt learn at previous.

I like to visit memorial place in order to learn more about our historical. It is good place to learn abaout Maji Maji War [before and after].

The place is so good for visit because you can learn what elders did and where we are originated
