Rubondo FDC is located Southern West of Lake Victoria at Kagera Region, in Biharamulo District 3.1Km from the HQ of Local Government Authority.The college was established in 1977 by inheriting the infrastructure used by later middle school under Ministry of education with supervision of the Directorate of Adult education.The vision in the establishment was to provide adult education from level six to seven and offering agricultural, carpentry and provide outlich programs training.The target participants were a community who engaged in agriculture and livestock keeping, also a college was set up to reduce the large number of unskilled community by educating many artisans in different fields.The major activities of the institution is to provides Vocational Training such as Auto Electrical, Electrical Installation, Motor Vehicle Mechanics, Masonry and Bricklaying, Design Sewing and Cloth Technology, Welding and Fabrication, Secretarial & Computer also the Institute it can provides marketable Short course in all kind to local peoples and foreigners.The institute is own by the Government of Tanzania through Ministry of Education Science and Technology under supervision of Directorate of Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET).
