Been here twice. We ordered samosa, grilled fish, grilled calamari and seafood pasta. All was very good although pasta was very basic. Be wary that service is long since there is only one chef.Prices are really ok (around 6-7$ per meal) and portions are huge. Definitely worth visiting.

Simple food and few menu options, but the food was really good. We ate here several times.The food takes some time to be prepared as everything is fresh, but its same everywhere, Zanzibar is not a place for fast food.The staff was great, on out last night we asked for 10 samosas to take on the flight, when they were served we asked the owner to wrap them so that we could take them with us on the plane, he asked when was out flight, next days in the afternoon, he told us that the samosas would not be great by then he cancelled the order, which was already on the table and asked us to go there on the following day by 11h30 AM, they were usually closed by that time. The following day we went there and he had our samosas ready to take away with no extra charge,The food was good, but the staff were really over the top.

Lovely establishment, delicious food and large portions. The chef is friendly, cooks quickly, sometimes he can bring water as a gift, or some other bonus). For some it will be a minus, but there is no beer (and alcohol in principle). Definitely the best place in Pingue for the price / quality, I recommend to visit.P.S. Do not be alarmed if no one is there, you just need to knock on the door.

Local small restaurant. With very simple and straightforward food. Nothing more, just the freshest seafood. The prices will also pleasantly surprise you.
