It was great to dive there! Great diving, great place, great staff!Dive sites not crowded and quite nice, lots of fish and can find macro too.Dive centre just next to the pool in convenient place, staff very friendly and helpful, no rush, and they accommodate your needs.If you are looking for a relax diving, this is good place to go!

DO NOT DIVE HERE! We got decompression sickness because of the bad equipment and guiding. We even signalled that we had symptoms of DCS at the boat and they were waived away for being sea sickness. We therefore didn’t get proper 1st aid oxygen, spent 7 days in a recompression chamber and both still have severe symptoms that will probably never go away! Please do not dive here for your own safety!

Do NOT Dive with Wimbi! Me and my boyfriend went diving. We got decompression sickness after a dive with Wimbi. There was insufficient guiding. Equipment was poor. There was no oxygen on board, although we asked for it and it was guaranteed to be there. After our dive our symptoms were ignored and waved away. Luckily it was possible to get treatment on the island, but we are still not recovered. Wimbi did not respond to any of our questions for help afterwards. An unsafe environment for diving!

We have been diving at Wimbi Dive Base around christmas 2021. It has been really a splendid experience. Mohamed and all the staff are very nice, helpful and competent. Besides that they have good rental equipment and a well maintained compressor. We totally can recommend diving with these great guys and snorkeling as well!Best regards from Frank and Alex

Very nice and professional staff.Also the captain on our boat was a very nice man and made our snorkeling tour to a good experience and a trip to remember.

Overall we had a very good experience with Wimbi Diving. Mohamed, the owner, was very accommodating regarding our diving plans and the dive package he offered was quite competitive.We did 3 local dives around Michamvi with Edris and 2 dives around Mnemba Island with Nasser. Both dive guides were very helpful, professional and knowledgeable about the dive spots, they also followed safety procedures (which is not always the case on Zanzibar 😊).Diving around Mnemba (despite 1.5+hr car drive each way) was like swimming in a huge tropical aquarium – crystal clear water, big variety of beautiful corals and plenty of reef fish (and also dolphins!). Also the local sites around Michamvi were pretty too – beautiful coral formations and clear water, however sea life was rather limited.

Dive with wimbi and my experience was amazing. Mohamed organized everything perfectly and the entire team was very friendly and attentive. I have no words and he recommended it to everyone.Thank you for allI❤ZNZ

It was a great experience. All very well organized, very friendly and kind stuff.I recommend not to miss this experience.Great time.

Please be careful and do not dive with these people. My brother and his partner got Caissons disease (decompression sickness) after a dive, and even after they told the instructors they were not feeling well and asked for help, these so-called professionals brushed it off and did nothing!They still have very serious physical and neurological symptoms which might be permanent because of this completely irreresponsible behaviour.BE CAREFUL!

35 dives all over the world and there frankly a marvel! For the pleasant and smiling team for the funds for the fish walls for Captain Nemo, super pro and secure. I hadnt dived for 3 years and I felt really safe. And they take care of everything! In short, I had a lot of fun and I recommend the dive center. Thanks again to the whole team!!!

I really enjoyed my dives with Wimbi Diving.The sites are beautiful, accessible from the N1 / Open Water.The very friendly team will carry your blocks to you and even take care of the rigging.Hope to have the chance to come back.In the meantime, you can go there with confidence.
