This kind of place is what you want to see and what you hope to find while travelling away from home, especially in a remote area like Zanzibar. Is new and it looks better than a European clinic! Everything is clean and tidy, the guys of the staff are all really kind as the doctor Maged who has a lot of experience, he healed a bad wound on my head with 6 stitches and daily medications.Strongly recommend!

Very professional and clean! I had an infected wound on my feet after stepping on a sea urchin, the doctor examined it and immediately took action. After performing a small surgery, he gave me medicine and made me a bandage which he changed everyday. He also helped me deal with my insurance company, who were reluctant to cover the damage. Overall, highly recommend.

Simply the best hospital experience ever. I came to the MedExpress with a very high fever and feeling very weak. I was taken care after immediately with all the proper check-ups, analysis, interview as well as medication and drips. From the beggining I was reassured by doctor Maged that Ill be fine which gave me the feeling of safety. The service is at the top! All the employees are extremely kind. All the time I felt safe, comfortable and well taken care after. They also managed to satisfy my all difficult food requirements ( vegeterian, lactose-free, healthy food, international cuisines). The bed was very comfy, the room was very clean and I slept better than at my own home... not to mention the wifi was working very well. It got to the point that once I was told that maybe I shall stay one night more - I actually felt happy about it. Arguably one of the best hospitals. Dr. Maged and his team are really great. We had to urgently go to the hospital twice during our vacation. Dr. Maged saved our lives twice. We had an allergic reaction complaint and it was taken care of immediately. Interventions and hospital conditions are very good. They keep checking until youre okay. Dr Maged asked if we were okay early in the morning even after we got out of the hospital. Now we have a very good doctor and friend in Zanzibar.

I was extremely lucky to be brought on the night of the motorcycle accident to the MedExpress hospital in Paje, Zanzibar. If you need a doctor, Doctor Magmed is the best you can imagine. The treatment is perfect and he immediately puts you at ease. We came with two different problems and later went back to check on my husbands problem. I had both feet with sea urchin splinters, the first two of which we were unable to pick out. He said you better not do anything about it. That infections occur when you make a wound yourself.
