I study here. It is one of the best medical schools in Tanzania. The Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences - Bugando (CUHAS-BUGANDO) is located at Bugando Hill, within the Bugando Medical Centre (BMC) premises in Mwanza. The core business is training, research and consultancy services. They train health professionals in the fields of Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Nursing and Public Health through the Diploma, Bachelor, Masters and PhD programmes. Students include local and international/foreign students from all walks of life. Because the university is within the Bugando referal hospital (BMC), it offers a good chance for practice. Limited accommodation is available within the campus but there you can get affordable rooms out campus.
