Disappointed!! The place is absolutely fantastic but the management is really terrible. I checked in at night there was no one but the security guard to check me in. & was checked into a family room instead of a single. Indicates the level of disorganization. The WiFi also didn’t work. & seems has been like that for a while. At 9 am while I was checking out breakfast wasn’t ready. & they still made me pay full price. Also their PDQ doesn’t work. A mess! Wouldn’t recommend staying there. Perhaps just visiting to tour it as it’s a wonderful place

I visited the place with my uncle and cousins, such a beautiful place in terms of scenery, beautiful structures but the food was horrible and it took forever for the cooks to prepare it and end up mixing the orders. The staffs were disorganized and not available to guide us through☹

It was moderate.I stayed here a week ago.Planned to spend my birthday night as retreat but ended up as a disappointment.The environment and atmosphere is so cool.the gardening staff are cool they taught me a few things.however i was disappointed by a few things.The place is not kid friendly esp for the infants..i did not see a high chair for my one yr kid so i had to carry her while dining..in the room there was no mosquito i asked the staff and she told me to use mosquito spray..later in the day i asked for warm water for my baby’s meal the staff brought me cold water i insisted that i needed warm water he later gave me and charged me 1000tsh for it which was actually not warm enough for my baby.It rained in the morning i called the staff they took too long to come i ended up bathing cold water …i had to leave earlier than planned..the packing was small that one person dented my car and no one cared..really disappointing not a value for money..The general environment is eco friendly thus 3*.

The view of the lake from here is mesmerising. They have amazing cultural rooms. The food is also affordable and good. I love this place.

The place is good but alot of Maintenance is required especially with the tented camps,the tents had quite a damp smell and werent very cleanFood is excellent and staff are friendly and helpful

If you are ever in Mwanza visit this place, reaching there is a bit far but will be worthwhile.

Offers views to die for. Animal and nature lovers this is your haven. I enjoyed each and every moment of my stay. Customer service outstanding. However, I wish they can improve on their food though and improve on their wifi connection. Given a chance I would go back again and again.

Beautifully located on the banks of Lake Victoria. Stayed here couple days whilst working in the region. Nice and relaxing, just seems to suffer from a bout of mediocrity perhaps caused by lack of tourists.

The reception crew is well coordinated. They know and plane who and when to receive you. A good tour and what to expect of the place. A step by step guide to your accomodations and its facilities. The chefs know about the delicacies present and explain it to you well. Privacy, freedom and luxury intertwined. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great place, good manager, quality accommodation, beautiful view of the lake and the city.Above all workers are friendly and helpful.Maasai dance and the bbq menu added a touch of our visit to this place. Live animals not in their natural environment are around this place, nice to see them but will be more nicer to see them in their natural habitat.Definitely will come back again

Service is super poor, management is even worse!Attitude of staff is abismle!Rooms are inconviniently far away from all the facilities like restaurant and such!Im obviously never going back and Id advise you to stay away also!

This is an amazing place, it has beautiful sceneries and views.. The place is near lake Victoria so a lot of water activities which include using electric boats to move around the lake, bubble sports, peddling, it also has a huge boat which you can rent with your friends in case of birthdays or celebrations.. It has other land activities such HIKING (where you get to meet different stations that have azilions rock, fireplace, and Masaai Boma), HORSE RIDING, CAMEL RIDING, ARROW SPORTS.. You can also do CAMPING too.. Oooh theres SWIMMING POOL AND NICE RESTAURANT with tasty foods..

I think my disappointment with Wag Hill is that the promises raise my expectations, then they are disappointed.We camped in their nice, comfortable tents, but couldnt sleep until 1am due to a nearby disco and security lights shining right into the tent all night long. Also there were no lights for the outside bathroom when we were heading to bed because the power was out.The menu is exciting and food delicious, but no pizza, no burgers, no cheese, no coffee if the power is out, no fish, no mutton... you get the idea.The activities for the kids promised to keep them busy for hours...or waiting for hours since several things were broken or unavailable or we had trouble finding the person in charge.The shining bright star was the service. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful (and frequently apologetic). Ill be visiting again, but with lowered expectations.

A great natural place. Well designed with preservation of all natural vegatation.A wonderful place to relax and worthy of spending your hard earned cash. A very rare place to find with such qualities combined.Prove me wrong.

Its very very beautiful.. If you love nature this is the place to be.. There is a hiking trail where you get to see a few of wild animals like zebras, Impalas,wildebeest, flamingos. So many activities to do for Adults, teenagers and children. Including Bonfire area. Its awesome 👍

OMG!!! This place is amazing I had so much fun. I saw a flamingo for the first time, drove a quad bike and went kayaking for the first time. They care so much about your safety and the staff are super friendly.

Rooms are good but environment very messy. The stairs are very tiring and not evenly made. Staff are friendly and smart. Food is good.

Its an outdoor space filled with adventure..Great for a weekend getaway with friends and family...The food is great.. and you vould feel the spices and how well they blended in the food...Friendly staff and accountable too.. i remember when i dropped my phone in the water how the manager (Ben) helped me in solving my then midlife crisis....I love that there is a bonfire area,hiking too and yes the zoo plus the greenhouse gardens..Its a place youd want to visit while in mwanza or vacation and honeymoon destination too....

Great ambience.Its like a wild life resort, you need to hike initially to reach there. Lake view houses are good.Night stay was awesome in those lake view houses. You can watch early morning sunrise sipping a hot coffee.

Ts in Luchelele outside the city (Mwanza) 45 minutes driving from town...ts found along side the shores of lake Victoria surrounded by hills..a lot of fun can be experienced if u visit there such as bicycle hiking,camel and horse riding,fishing and etc. Food,drinks and accommodation ts something u cant miss
