For the third time now, ATCL has delayed a flight for 7 hours and the airport does not have resting places for stressed and sick passengers. No decent place to eat

They are so nice and humble I really love it here

It was great.. Small place but well organised.. I suggest the place to be extended so that it can be spacious enough to accommodate a lot of people considering coro pandemic.. 😀

Its too old school, way out of its time from operations to etc.. for a major Tanzanian city like mwanza we need major adjustment to this airport so it could accommodate more travel, also control the eventual flooding.

They currently get the job done, but they definitely need that new terminal now. Waiting rooms get a bit crowded.

Not very clean or organized. The luggage assistants are frustrating with demands for additional money. Using the same checkpoint for arrivals and departures does make one wonder about efficiency and security. Called to board and at plane had to wait as no luggage was loaded yet.

Cool environment there next to the lake Victoria

Actually this is my working place my second home,,the best place where we do the impossible to make the aviation industry and air transport one of the best and probably the leading mode of transport

Small airport & fairly clean place. Downside, the place is always congested. If youre traveling from Mwanza, most likely youll be received by luggage handlers who will bring you a cart and help you to the checkin desk. If you allow them to help, just remember to pay them (some do take advantage of travelers by demanding a lot). You are scanned before checkin counter & immediately after you check in, youll be scanned again. If youre claustrophobic, you may need to visit your counselor b4 u travel ;-)

Small nice airport, but with all these years i think it needs to be made international as it connects different Cities around the lake zone, it has to be expanded with new buildings and a longer run away which can bring bigger plains as now its limited to few routes

The only words I can use is Calm and collected.. theyve got an excellent customer service but also theyre system is very well organized

Domestic airport mostly is for in country routes. Small airport this makes security and other procedures fast on arrival took me just 3 minutes to be out it’s just a short walk.Wheelchair accessible.

There was only one person for checking temperature and sanitizing for more than 110 . The process was very slow. Needed more people may be two or three. People were tired and were not happy with the process

Mwanza International Airport is a joke in our family.Arrivals and departure passengers collide in one small passage, which also has immigration and emigration windows. Result chaos! I was given another passengers passport by immigration- luckily I checked.Urgently needs a new terminal.

Efficient, clean, mostly on time. Nothing spectacular but better than many.

Beware of scam at the airport with porters overcharging (USD10 per bag!) and also where youre ask to have your soft-case bags wrapped in plastic. When we got to Kilimanjaro, we were stopped and asked the plastic to be removed. We paid $10 for it only to be cut and removed at Kilimanjaro Airport (considering we were just transitting Kilimanjaro). No wifi at airport, security check is annoying.

Tried to fine us, but wouldnt issue a receipt, so droped the charge. Hmmm, Had we really done anything wrong?

Its not only disappointing for such a big city...it is aggravating...we had to wait in-line for over 60minutes and there was just one attendant checking the tickets and IDs, the airport in itself is simply old...this is the politest comment I can make while still being honest...

Ok Airport, Smaller Than It Looks, At First It Seemed Like It Was A Set Of The Movie.🤕It Will Be Better If You Dont Spend Anything On Food On The Airport.
