Nice lodging and food, friendly staff. Its very peaceful, and the sunset hike is a unique and beautiful experience.

We stayed one night on this fabulous island situated in the middle of Wizard Victoria. It was a night that I will remember all my life. First, some of the staff picked us up with a very typical wooden boat from there and took us to the island, where the rest of the staff was waiting for us with towels and juices to make us feel at home. Then they took us to see the sunset at the peak of the highest mountain on the island and where there are spectacular views. They gave us a choice about what we wanted to drink and we chose wine, which was brought up there with some popcorn and glasses. After seeing the fabulous sunset, we went to take a shower and then a delicious dinner awaited us to try, among other things, their fish from the lake. After dinner, we danced around the fire on the shore of the lake with the staff who sang happy songs and where we could also relax.The next day they prepared a spectacular breakfast for us before leaving for Tanzania.The rooms were great although we must say it was full of insects and it did not let us end up feeling very comfortable when showering or sleeping.Attention: the journey from land to the island is approx 45 minutes although it depends on the time and tide.Tip: in the morning we also asked the staff to go up the mountain to see the sunrise, which was as fabulous as the sunset but more relaxing with the birds in the background. There is also the largest island nearby, which is where fishermen live and we went to visit their houses and ways of fishing for sardines.I must highlight the impeccable helpful treatment of Veronica and Diana, nice people as a person and hardworking. They made us a most beautiful stay.
