Wonderful manager Mr David, friendly team, clean hot water, lovely garden with bar, just close to the city and supermarkets tasty both vegetarian and non-veg foods.

Basecha Garden is a home to me when am in moshi. The only difference is that its a cost sharing home.The staff are wonderful and friendly the garden will breeze my room all over 14 days of my staying at the Lodge.

Economic price and big quality rooms

The room is nice on African standard, clean, with mosquito net over the bed. There is even new slim TV hanging on the wall we never used. The bathroom is also okay. But... the staff and service is really horrible. The staff is lazy, not friendly, they dont care. We are the only guests in the hotel now, last guest checked in like 5 days before us (according to the check-in book) so they have not too much work, but still. We have no soap, nor towels in the room, not enough toilet paper for 2 nights. So yes, it is clean, but services are issue. Location is not central, but still walking distance to bus station. Additionally there are frequent black-outs. Electricity may be out even more than 10 mins. Good thing is WiFi.

Good place to stay,clean rooms and surrounds with foods and drinks

Every time am around here its a pleasure there is great mountain view,the garden is cool,on time services, wheelchair is accessible, normally not a crowded place, cold 🍺 and hard liquor are available.. clean budget rooms and so on

Stayed a couple of times here. On the second occasion, there were water issues. Basically no water in the bathroom at all. I had to cut my stay short as I really needed that shower and couldnt wait for the supply to come back. The internet is always on and off. This is really a basic issue and they should fix it.The place is also not that great in terms of cleanliness. Pillows dont look like they get all changed between guests.

The place is cool with a very nice environment, food is not of good quality and water heaters are controlled centrally hence not accessible whenever needed. WiFi connection is super and always available and functional.

Very kind staff, 3 girls working here all the time. Menu is very small, but food is good. Garden in the evening is very romantic.

Had to ask the reception for warm water. When I turn it on it only lasts for 2-3 minutes. Impossible to find the right temperature.

Its a very ideal lodge for those who prefer staying at a calm and homely environment.

Basic and clean friendly staff. Shower is okay. Nice clean garden. Breakfast is toast fruit and eggs plus beverages. Overall okay.

Good place in Moshi. The rooms are comfortable and Christopher the manager of this place take care of his clients and give always good advices on what to visit or to discover.

PROS. Good location in downtown Moshi, close to many banks and restaurants, but not a noisy area. Nice outdoor seating area. The showers were hot. There was AC in the room.CONS. The staff arent very friendly and can barely communicate in English. The wifi didnt work at all in our room. The bathroom stank.
