Really enjoyed staying here for my first night in Tanzania. Staff were friendly. Nice to have a hot bath before going to bed. Fridge, bottled water, and electric kettle in the room. Breakfast was good. Pool was clean. Many nearby businesses including bars and clubs, but still quiet at night.

Very nice, clean and well located accommodation in Moshi. This place is ideal for when one needs to get away from chaos and experience a very relaxing environment. Can get a bunch of services here, spacious rooms, WiFi, small bar, restaurant, well managed swimming pool, etc. I would not afford not to mention the friendliest staff especially at the reception. Very attentive and always willing to resolve any issue. Others too are amazing staff in providing good customer service.

Amazing Place to spend time before/ after safari or kili hike!!! It is located in a nice neighbourhood with some good restaurant options in walking distance. The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable and the AC works fine. Breakfast is basic, but will be prepared for you at the table (no buffet) which was nice! Staff is attentive and the pool with the garden was a good place to recover.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, nice breakfast prepared on demand after choosing on a menu, very attentive staff. The pool is very nice and surrounded by green, very calm and perfect place to unwind. Close to a couple good restaurants (kitchen Flavour and courage Café)

A bit over priced for what it was but happy with it for a 2-3 day stay.We stayed here on our honeymoon prior to doing a safari. The hotel is clean, warm water and good wifi! The pool is nice along with the gardens. The staff are very friendly and kind. Always smiling. Dinner was $15 and had good flavor and good portions.Only issues is it’s loud at night. Staff are loud in the kitchen and you’ll hear other guests at night taking through the walls. Also The prices for happy hour are a bit steep, along with prices for the rooms. Laundry is also expensive. I had a small bag and it was close to $20! Tanzania is just expensive , but overall we were happy with this hotel. I would say it’s a budget hotel , but has higher prices due to popularity of area . Not sure we could of found anything else without paying a lot more! Check out Courage Cafe for breakfast, the breakfast at the hotel was kinda small and not very tasty. They serve hot dogs as sausage. And not many options for choices.Overall we enjoyed the stay! But bring ear plugs and plan to spend more $. And go out for breakfast if you want variety and flavor and larger portions!

Altezza Lodge is a nice and simple hotel in Moshi, near the center. The rooms are fine and simple, although we expected a better bathroom and in general better conditions from the photos we had seen. I would describe it as an “upgraded hostel” for the facilities (e.g. pool) that it offers.

Great place for quick rest before flight!! The reception & kitchen staffs are very courteous and helpful!! They were quick to help us with fast checkin, ginger-honey for kid & arrange foot massage!!!

We had a very pleasant stay.The room was clean and the bed comfortable. All the staff members were extraordinary friendly and helpful.Food was good, the pool really nice and the location perfect to easily go there but still be far away from the noisy town.

This hotel had THE BEST staff! Even after checkout they made sure we were comfortable while waiting for our driver to pick us up. Everyone was friendly, the included breakfast was beyond our expectations and all food was made fresh. You can eat in the beautiful garden and the pool is well kept! I loved my stay here!

Nice and clean rooms. Very nice hotel staff. The only thing was the kitchen. We were waiting for the food a way too long - more then 2 hours for the dinner and more then an hour eventhough it was only regular breakfast. And chinese noodles were actually something that looked like noodles with ketchup.The pool was clean, very good location.

I was there for a couple of nights and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are big and spacious with aircondition and hot water running at all times, they have a beautiful garden with a pool and they can serve the breakfast in the garden or in the restaurant thiugh the breakfast is not buffet as they have nine rooms in the property. The staff are also very friendly and helpful a special shout to Beatrice for wonderful customer service

I couldnt say enough good things about this hotel. The staff is FABTASTIC!! Theyre all welcoming and friendly and super helpful and accommodating. Checking in this hotel i didnt feel like Im checking in at a foreign country. The staff makes you feel like home among your friends. They knew I was going on a mountain trek so when I returned they gave me a room with a jacuzzi tub. And I was in a rush to get to the airport and they so kindly helped me pack and get me on my way. I absolutely love everyone I met there. They made my experience that much more special. Elite customer service!!

After my Kilimanjaro climb I was very happy to spend a relaxing day and evening at the Lodge. The room was comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. Should I visit Moshi again I will be sure to return !

We seemed to be given the wrong room type when we arrived. Id suggest making sure you get the (much) larger rooms that are on the sides of the building (room 101 for us) because they are literally 2 or 3 times larger than the initial room we were given.We were totally confused by the size difference actually, because we literally went from a boxy double room to a large suite (and it was the suite which was showed in the images of our reserved room, hence why we requested the swap).The bathrooms definitely need some work (management!!! Dont blame your staff), in both rooms the bathrooms needed some tidying up...cracked sink bowls, missing grouting etc. I certainly did not want to make use of the jacuzzi bathtub we had in the second room because of the condition it was in.But hey, its a 2 star hotel...and for the price and size of our second room it was great value for money.Food for us was too pricey. We opted to visit Kuonana which is 5 mins round the corner and makes the best food you can get.

Comfortable and clean rooms. Great hospitality and very helpful staff. We asked for Ndizi na Nyama and the cook prepared it for us upon request. Nice pool to relax in. 30 minutes walk from Moshi center and 5 minutes walk from great local restaurant Kuonana.

For the price, this a very nice place. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Breakfast is simple but tasty.the only downside is that noise travels in this place. From the bedroom upstairs, I can hear the receptionist talk to guests, to be fair, this doesnt happen often but if you are light sleeper like me, bring a portable speaker or some noise cancelling headphones and youll enjoy the place just fine. The water pressure in the shower is amazing as is the hot water. Also safe parking.

My stay at the Altezza Lodge was a great experience! The staff were so welcoming and super helpful when ever needed! They helped us book a day trip to the Animal Rescue Crew Center and got us an amazing deal! They also helped us get to the bus station when we were leaving and had the greatest driver take us there and find us a bus to take to the proper location! I will most definitely be staying there again and recommend this hotel. I can not say enough good things about it! The food was delicious and the outside area was so cute and cozy! Our beds were very comfy which was a HUGE bonus after flying 20 hours. I was more then impressed with their hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay here, the Staff are very Friendly, the Meals are very good and we felt at Home here.

Check in was only ok, didn’t really get a lot of information.Half of the staff seemed not interested , the other half was very friendly.Disappointing that we didn’t get the room as shown in booking. The twin room with two big beds was not available, so as a couple had to sleep in separated beds.The restaurant was completely overpriced. We ate mostly in the union cafe in Moshi, which is the most touristic place and still the hotel was at least 30% more expensive.Also the Price for what you get related to the rooms is rather high. There are places in Moshi with same standard but a lot cheaper.Distance to town center is approximately 30 minutes by foot.Overall the hotel is ok and seemed clean. But definitely not more.

The lodge is away from the centre. So have to walk down at least 2 km for the same.The rooms are big with separate sitting and nice comfortable beds. Huge bathroom with tub. AC working. But No hairdryer.A small swimming pool is there.But the services are erratic. No one came to clean our room in our two night stay.The breakfast was very poor quality. One fresh fruit drink bread and two eggs. The eggs were also not cooked properly.

Perfect place to relax before/after Kilimanjaro trek or safari. Quiet and safe neighbourhood, nice green garden with tables to enjoy drinks, swimming pool. Walking distance (15 minutes) from town centre.Nice, clean rooms with A/C. We were lucky enough to get huge room with super-comfy bed and jacuzzi in bathroom.Tasty English style breakfast.Great service, especially always smiling Yahaya making sure you are always happy and not lack of anything during your stay.Airport transfer arranged in the middle of the night for good price (40 usd).My No.1 place if I visit Moshi again!

I stayed in Altezza in November 2017. The staff was very attentive and always available. The rooms were clean and fresh. Reliable Wi-Fi (a rarity in Africa), good food and a clean swimming pool. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended for anyone.

Very nice hotel with helpful staff and big, clean rooms. The garden with the pool is cosy. The hotel is close to the canter with restaurants and markets, approximately 20 min walk. Breakfast is okay. It was also a good price on booking compared to other hotels.

Arrived here and first thing was a relaxing swim in the pool. Given the warm weather its a great addition. The internet is of acceptable standard , rooms are clean and the staff are well trained. Would recommend this place

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful swimming pool at an excellent price. Staff very nice with me and the entire family.The only lackness I could underline is a lack of soundproofing (we could hear too much from the closer rooms).

I stayed in Altezza Lodge before and after my Kilimanjaro climbs. As a frequent visitor to Tanzania, I can assuredly say that it is the best lodge in Moshi. Excellent swimming pool, hospitable staff and exemplary hospitality. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Lodge with ambience gardens and top customer care from friendly staff. Booking was done by Kilimanjaro climbing outfitter, the Kilimanjaro Tanzanite Safaris DMC.

Wifi doesn’t come through to the 2nd floor so slight inconvenience there.. but apart from that, great location near food places, attentive staff, and clean rooms!
