Excellent food. Took a little longer to serve but worth the wait. The portions are massive. Almost struggles to finish but being so tasty it wasnt long before the food was gone.They have a good selection, decent prices and amazing portions.Plenty of space to sit, quiet and very comfortable.Thank you.

Cool atmosphere, interesting mix of setups depending on whether you sit in or outdoors, up or downstairs. All the food is great. Try the tikka and palak paneer, jeera rice, sekela chicken. Butter/garlic naan is always good too.

Found this place because of other reviews. Would def recommend. BBQ wasnt ready at 11 AM but we had a couple other dishes that were really tasty. A lil off the beaten path but worth it.

Best food ever!Long wait but it was worth it. Because get this. All the ingredients are freshly made. I honestly could smell the spices especially the pepper being ground and toasted.Seating arrangements may fool you to go to some other fancier place but bear with them because it was an experience. I might even say it was spiritual.The Swahili drumsticks! Fire!Have you ever tasted something that is supposed to be bland but still so tasty! Go experience the paradox of the chicken dumplings.

Plenty of seats inside (down stairs suitable for families and ppl looking for a easy going and calm area, upstairs is more noisy as bar is there), patio and also on the balconies built on the containers. Patio can be noisy also during the power cuts as the generator is placed over there.The service can take quite some time but its probably because they make it when you order it.The range of dishes is great! Excellent value for money for sure!Portion sizes were massive!! I ordered what they call Chicken salad and other vegetables was so delicious !What I really liked about KAKAS was the differents caind of pizza like Margearitha pizza, Veggie classic pizza, Mediterania pizza, Tuna piza, Salami pizza,Sausage pizza, Chicken pineapple, Indian pizza, Calzone pizza, Napoletana pizza,Mystic pizza and four season pizza also they have vegetarian menuI enjoy the place and whenever I am in Town or I have visitors in Moshi

I was buying pizza for 10 kids who had never eaten pizza before. Lunch was at 12 so I got there at 11.15 to order. I was told it would be 25 minutes. Perfect.90 minutes and numerous follow ups later I cancelled half the order as it still wasn’t ready. Just as I got back the kids were going to bed for the afternoon nap. I’d missed lunchtime.I hate this place.

Good ambience, even better food. The grilled chicken tikka is fantastic! Cooked well and not dry. The naan is made using a tandoor and is also very good. Recommended !

We went to Kakas Bar and Grill at lunchtime yesterday.When we got there we didnt know whether it was already open or still closed because we were standing in the anteroom.Then we heard people in the courtyard and went through the locked door. Aaaahhhhhh ....We were received and the card was brought to us.Starting with the lemonade, not too cold, just right, the lemonade bubbled in front of our seats.It took some time for our order to arrive, but thats not a problem. Life really starts here in the late evening hours.Location:The entrance hall is rather inconspicuous, nicer when you come into the interior, you can watch the barbecue, if you dont like it, you can go to the first floor where there are more places available.eatThe chicken Chrisp was juicy on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. The chicken drumstick was great, crispy on the outside and lightly fried and juicy on the inside. The sauce was slightly spicy with a lot of garlicThe bread was kneaded only when ordered and then grilled. We liked that a reasonable portion of garlic was sprinkled over it.Portion:Certainly not the largest, but still sufficient and filling.Service:Friendly welcome in the courtyard, attentive, quick service when it came to drinking.Price:We paid 30,000 TZL for 2 dishes, 1 bread, 2 cola and 2 lemonades, in euro around 12.50 euros which is relatively cheap.Conclusion: great restaurant in the heart of Moshi, which is worth a visit.

Following the recommendations, we tasted the tandori chicken and we really enjoyed it !!Very nice atmosphere, and the other dishes are certainly very good, but the tandori chicken is indeed a sure bet!
