UPDATED: I totally recommend Piras for your daily shopping. Excellent location; sufficient street side parking. The mom & pop grocery store that has everything you may need. The owners are kind and hospitable and the staff are helpful.Pira bake their own bread. I recommend their milk bread as well as their multi grain/seed loaf. My aunt who lives in Dar es Salaam loved their bread so much she purchased ten loaves to take back home.They have a corner for savory and sweet pastries. It would be wrong to NOT purchase a few delectable treats for yourself. Besides, if you found Piras...you should treat yourself.

Five star cant be attained in the space is maintained. The supermarket is full equipped with items and organized workers, the opening and closing duration allows more people to visit the area. Am not so sure, but business vendors near the place may have great effect on the such big investment/business.

Good place for home shopping

Great supermarket and selection. But a strange scent that attaches to food and packaging and to your fridge. Can not buy things like bread, crackers there..Air con, reserved parking is definitely a big plus

A nice place to shop for hard drinks, it offers a wide range. Also for chicken,processed foods and sundries. Parking space is an issue.

Family owned Supermarket that also sells alcohol. Recently started a backery so you can get fresh bread and different kinds of pies. Wide selection of items also available here.

Piras Grocery store & bakery is the most experienced food store in Morogoro. Others came later. All food items are available in the store. Best and highly delicious breads are available in the store.

Seems to be well organised but turned out to sell rotten cereals (Alpen) and candy (Mars and (Bounty).Went there afterwards and opened up a candy bar with the owner who agreed with me.Still no refund - poor customer service!Might have been unlucky but be sure to check your purchases.
