The mountain views from the hotel are just splendid! There is a garden outside every room and a bigger lawn other than that. Good place to relax. Indian food is not very good though.You can take pictures all day long at the hotel. Rooms are clean.

Its beutiful. Things are improving day after day. Better surroundings, good weather. Business also is doing good over here, farmers continues to harvest their plants. Its good in general.

The place has great view for those who like interacting with nature. However for the hotel carrying the regions name, I would recommend renovating the rooms.

Went here for lunch with my wife there was maybe 10 people there it took 2 hrs to get food and we had to change order because waitress came to us and said oh thats finished pick another, then the order was totally wrong but we tried it and it was the worst I had to get restaurant supervisor to refund me and the waitress got attitude because I didnt wanna eat that garage and wanted it removed from my ticket. Needs updating

Hotel was good. But wi-fi is worse as no network. Food quality also not good. Paneer was very hard and very very limited option.

The hotel area is good, nice greenery and nice outlook of the hotel.But we don’t like what’s inside the room, stayed for 1 night, the restaurant service is too slow as we ordered chicken masala with rice take literally 1.5 hour.The inside decoration and furniture are too old and aged, the toilet is broken, the room size is small, the curtains are dusty with smell inside the room.I even found inside wardrobe someone left his jacket 😂 but we are glad the shower was hot water and at least we make a nice shower.The most unhappy part was until 11 pm we still heard there’s party music around then in the early morning 4 am 5 am there’s mosque chanting could not make a good rest at all!!Hopefully the owner will arrange some renovation as it supposed to be a place.

Conveniently located just off the centre, nice pool... great outlook over the mountains. Rooms are not very business traveler minded but friendly staff went out of their way to help and put an extra table in the room.

The food was great but the service was not very good, the waiters are slow new and not aware of their inventory of drinks, service takes longer than usual.

It lacks good service. They didnt clean the room we booked, it was full of dust and upon calling housekeeping they said they didnt have anyone to change the beddings. The bathrooms are terrible, they are in bad condition and they dint even provide us with toilet paper, they give you a mug that you have to use for cleaning. They dont have water at all, I was stuck in the bathroom without water. Very poor service. They even lost my room key once.

Its a quiet place with standard facilities. Except for the mosquitoes its a nice place. But they have bed-nets installed over every bed and go the extra mile to spray each room with insecticides as an added measure.

This hotel is past its best years. Having a lot of history, it yet failed to modernize. Interesting infrastructure of the main building but Service/rooms for the price are not justified. Also staff are very untrained and inexperienced. Unfortunately the Pool is very dirty albeit being cleaned by a pool boy daily (visual floating dirt). The hotel is very much preferred by local government. I like the old style bar. Big unused garden.

While the structures have seen better days, the service remains great. Also, by sitting on a large area, there is a calming feeling of quiet yet the hotel is a stones throw away from the middle of town.

Im sorry to say but the hotel can do better. Nobody understands a word you say or ask. Had to organize my own kettle. No cups in the room. The breakfast is not so great. They can add more variety to it. No TV channels to watch except news. The aircon remote only worked when you want it cooler so I ended up with 16 degrees the whole night while trying to change it. But the basics work. Had a hot shower. Slept ok except for mosquitoes waking me during the night because the door doesnt seal good and fit in the frame any longer. The swimming area is nice and the scenery is great and it is central in Morogoro but thats about it.

A good hotel near the range of Uluguru mountains that has an ever green gardens that are so much eye catching. The swimming pool is large enough to support people who are sharing it. The people meals are from various cuisine and background. It offers a wide view of town and its vicinity

The staff were great. Environment is great. The service is great. Television sets need an upgrade. There needs to be a small gift shop or outlet in facility, also a small place where one can get cellphone simcards for Tanzanian network. Wi-Fi facilities are great. Quite a nice place for a working visit or a getaway!

Poor service. Especially the restaurant. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our dinner. On top of that they served me a plate I did not order. The waiters gave a poor apology and no compensation what so ever. Also the rooms were not that clean and the staff didnt seem to be interested and showed no commitment.I have been to Morogoro hotel at least 5 times, but now I will think twice before booking again.

We had absolutely no regrets staying here, affordable and honestly quite nicely done.The views are to die for as its shouldered on one side by the mystical Morogoro mountains, where the locals are ever friendly and always eager to tell you fascinating tales of creatures from under the mountain.Still planning a return trip.

Cool place to stay while getting fresh air from Uluguru mountains

Very tranquil place away from the disruption of Morogoros CBD. Nice food. I liked the variety of juices. Nice swimming pool. Nice and expansive garden with bushes. Great scenery. Improve on the room though, they are somehow substandard.Replace the CRT TVs with flat screens.Place a computer chair in the rooms. The ones present are very low.A coffee kettle would be welcome too.Separate/enclose the bath from the closet.Enjoyed the stay.

Place is good. Surrounded by a big hill. Food also nice.

I ended up there after trying to find a place where you can get a coffee. Other places said coffee machines were not working, not clear if that means broken or they couldnt be bothered turning them on.I ordered curry and a latte.Food was quite good (a vegetarian curry with rice for 15000), however the coffee cought me by surprise.I was served a pint (literally a beer pint) of hot milk with a hint of coffee flavour. It was undrinkable and had nothing to do with latte.Overall though the place was clean, staff friendly and food reasonably priced. You probably shouldnt expect anything more from Morogoro.

Good Indian food. Strange place, seems mostly empty. Good coffee not available. A place like this should have a proper coffee machine. No WiFi unless youre staying here.

My family stayed at the hotel on the 1st and 2nd January. We had no complains about the rooms.Some advice to the owner of the hotel. Please dont be profit greedy and invest some money on the cutlery. We were served food on chipped plates n bowls. Some of us had the honour to have soup in finger bowls. The chicken was just bones with sauce on it. Shame on you for this pathetic food.We paid a high price for food and left disappointed.

A place is very cool and good for hang out. However the hotel itself has been poorly maintained.

The cabin setting at the hotel is pretty unique with all rooms fitted with AC.Rooms range from TShs 70,000 upwards.The view of the Uruguru ranges is amazing from here as well.The place also has a lively bar.

Been here a few times, and every time having the same issues, Poor Condition, had to be moved to 4 rooms due to poor conditions and maintenance does not exists. Breakfast is Poor, small sausages, only 2 allowed, bake beans, eggs, that is it. Unfriendly Staff, Not Recommended, will not go there again...

The rooms are not clean, i saw cockroaches in the room. The sheets were dirty and on 24th Aug the cashier refused to give the cleaner clean sheets when we asked for clean ones.

You can’t talk about Hotels in Morogoro without mention this Hotel.Its very old and its still well maintained food is nice and if you re looking for a place to chill and watch football they do have a bar with two screen.

Ample parking, children zone, swimming pool, food etc.Its reasonable cost, offers with Bread and breakfast.As experienced, Tourist of mikumi stay here. Tourist normally leave early morning for Mikumi Park. Canteen starts morning 7 am onwards. Tourist doesnt have option during day time for break fast pr meal inside park.Only canteen issue to be resolve by management of Morogoro Hotel. Otherwise rest all is excellent

I must say the hotel is very well mingled with nature, amazing uluguru mountain view. Breakfast is fresh and very creative from what is available locally and healthy.

Food is good, but if you dont tip the waitress the are blown up, rooms are good but no hot water at night. I have stayed in hotels half the price with everything working.

Iv only stayed in the single room. Its clean, has an aircon and a tv. There is quite a nice swimming pool. Squash court as well but I havent tried that yet.

English command by staff and payment systems can be a problem if ever you have challenge,you may not be able to understand each other in English.But service is generally good and well presented staff.
