Went for the snake park not to stay at hotel. Saw lots of snakes and learnt a lot. Also got to hold one of the harmless snakes and put it around my neck
This is a wonderful motel! The staff are warm and welcoming. They will do anything they can to help you.The food is absolutely delicious! The breakfast is very hearty. The room was clean and comfortable and the dining area and bar was wonderful! You should stay at this motel as it is a very reasonably priced hotel and very close to the National park and village. The people will make your trip!
Place is in a very bad shape. The food and service are still good though.

Somehow
Mikumi view
Good value for money.Interesting reptile house.
The hotel is located in close proximity to Mikumi Park. The territory of the hotel leaves much to be desired, as well as the rooms in this hotel. The rooms are very old, the air conditioner remotes do not work, the sockets do not work at all, so if one works, then you are in chocolate. There is no hot water in the shower and the water pressure is very weak, that it is really very difficult to wash! The net above the bed does not completely cover the bed and you can be bitten by mosquitoes, flies, and ants! On the continent there are anopheles mosquitoes and flies CC, our repilent for them probably the scent of flowers! Take with you a fumigator! At least somehow it worked efficiently! Prices at the bar - if you can call it that way, are very overpriced, and there is no change, since no one lives here and there is no bargaining money at all. So, take small money with you. We were taken to this hotel from the island of Zanzibar, the road from Dar es Salaam takes 8-9 hours depending on the traffic! So, if you go on a safari in Mikumi consider this, your guides will not tell you about it at all! Especially about the hotels in which you are settled! The staff is friendly, do not speak english! In our case there was a guy at the reception who, at the very least, spoke English poorly! Internet in the hotel is not at all! Reception at the hotel is not as such, just standing table and chair! If we consider this hotel from the point of view of extreme rest, then it has all 5 * stars! Therefore, if you drive from the island of Zanzibar specifically Kendwa, then the road to Stone Town is 1 hour 30 minutes! Ferry 2 hours, smoking on the ferry as in the landing zone can not be! Check with your guides necessarily documents the license and hotel reservation in which you will be accommodated? Have a nice Safari !!!!!
