No warm water, very unfriendly staff. No water pressure and poor electricity. The fan barely worked. Unbearably hot and to not have a decent fan is very unpleasant. Rooms are very dirty and no room cleaning is available. You have to ask them to clean and pay extra.

I like this place because it was only $20 a night and close to the beach. While it was not on the beach itself, you could pay for a $10 guest voucher at a nearby hotel to hang out at the beach for the day. The rooms here are very basic and clean, but the mosquito net did not fully cover around the bed. Fortunately, the mosquitoes here are not malaria mosquitoes and the fan kept them off of me at night.

Barefoot Zanzibar is truly a beautiful, quiet spot very close to a beautiful beach.They have a little playground for children as well as helpful and a very friendly team working there.We booked a few nights but sadly just ended staying one night as our travel plans changed.We got fresh coconut water at arrival.For breakfast you can get fresh fruit, pancakes, omelettes, tea, coffee and bread with jam.Well be back!

Its heaven on earth. The owners of the place make you feel like part of their family. They are very helpful in finding some cool activities and enjoying the island. Our room was specious and had everything we needed - including a huuuuge bed. The breakfast is amazing with lots of fresh fruit. We used the garden a lot for chilling under palm trees. We loved our stay and would like to come back soon.

Most relaxing area we had in Zansibar. Never met such friendly people. Two minutes walk to the beach. Just needed one minute to get to a good and cheap restaurant. I highly recommend it!

Uncomfortable beds which dips in like a hammock. Unreliable water and electricity which they only communicate on a piece of paper stuck on the wall, once checked in. And dont bother to communicate your feedback to management, because they refuse to accept it... and falsely accused us of being aggressive.Never again.

There were 4 people in the hotel: I was with a girlfriend and a family from Omsk. We agreed to go to the northern beaches. They left almost the whole daylight hours. At this time, Khalida decided to go to her family. We returned one after another in the evening. Who at that time was in the hotel we do not know. But it was precisely in this absence of mine that the charger unit from the smartphone disappeared, and the neighbors had a folding hunting knife. Although the money remained untouched. The perfect place to relax and unwind. We had a warm stay and found new friends here. All activities are organized for one with very good connections. The cook is crazy.
