This is my homevillage, the pool has two out lets which again meets to create an island as seen in the picture. On the upstream side there is a large rock formation which has many cracks due to tectonic movement which makes space underneath that allows water to settle and pass through. This is the breeding place for a certain species of fish (opsaridium microlepis) locally known as Mbasa. It is believed that this fish is no where to be found upstream, this is the only breeding place and normally during hot season when the rock is heated.
