Mwanjelwa market is one of the biggest market in Mbeya. This building has been made by Tanzania government to enhance business activity in mbeya.You will find all kind of foods found in mbeya and near by mbeya.Also there are CRDB ATM and their daily services and NMB ATM.You will meet with clothes sellers, book shops, and other.There is Ruanda hospital near by it.Few months ago, people were selling outside the building, but now are taken inside.

Typical Tanzanian market centre. You can find almost anything you need there if you ask the locals for help. Just keep your purse and wallet tucked well away from sight. I would recommend only going during the day. I regularly take my young family during the day and we have never had any trouble but there are always a few looking for an opportunity to grab and run.
