Very friendly and helpful staff. And cheap room prices too. Although dont get a room facing the road its quite noisy until late at night with cars and motorcycles passing by. The rooms are quite small, and the sheets quite worn out, but as I said its cheap. They provide a reasonably nice breakfast. I also tried their egg salad for dinner and it was quite good.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean, and still the property has roaches. I saw less that 5 roaches, but it is what it is. There was a TV in the room, but there are only 3 channels. There is good wifi, but the room we stayed in was just outside the range. A restaurant is on the premises, however many items may not be available. We ordered roast chicken and chips, after being told other choices were not available... It was really dry, like leather. We ordered the only fresh juice available, and it was canned juice. There is a continental breakfast included when you stay in a double bed room available until 10a. The breakfast is limited but its something.

The hotel was very affordable and the rooms are very neat. However there is no working air conditioner or fan in the room. The food was local cuisine. No toast or fresh coffee. The dining room is very small and the TV volume was constantly too loud. The staff are friendly but lack focus on hotel guests.

Mkulu was always a very good place to stay and whenever I was in Mbeya I would stay at Mkulu. My recent experience is different, the hotel manager is very unprofessional. I and my colleagues stayed in the hotel recently and there were things we were not satisfied with, when we approached the manager, he told us to move from the hotel and find another hotel, this is not the Mkulu I know. May be something is wrong with the man.

The hotel is located just by morogoro road near mwanjerwa market.Theres one good hotelier called Vivian shes one of a good worker with good customer care provided by her. The rest is fine rooms are in good condition hot water, nice bedroom, tv free teeth brush and bottle of drinking water.The price is very affordable.

Mkulu Hotel is a nice place for one to spend his night, delicious food and excellent hospitality. Some improvement in TV channels is important for news and sports! Please improve on that area. The guests need to be informed on world news and sports

Very interesting and comfortable at Mkulu hotel there are best service and security which can help the visitors to have funny there as they can wish by the way there are lot of the services as such its are international hotel that it can provide the lot of the foods of your choice also there is good access to the wheel chair persons that can help them to fill comfortable when they are at Mkulu hotel and there are service of drinks are available thats why you can visit for the service like those which are in human need Enjoy Mbeya while in Mkulu hotel for a service on its own

Once am after a cool hotel place in mbeya region in one of the best I really liked the way services are offered to customers who visit here and there are some people who uses their chances to take photos at this beautiful place. Vey Nice but it less romantic due to lack of bigger garden that people can sit out while eating and make stories.

Close to the road and good is okay. Didnt like the rooms that much as they seemed clustered however they have made good effort to make them clean and private.
