This is the best and, at the moment of writing this lines, the unique place to stay in Mbamba if you are looking for a safe, confortable, clean and friendly accomodation by the beach. The Vicentian sisters will do their best to make you feel at home. The location overlooking the Muhalo Beach is a paradise for photographers or whoever with the sensibility to understand that this part of the lake Nyasa is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Food is simple but healthy and nutritive. Rooms are clean, with ensuite bathroom, hot water, fans and A/C. Prices are much more than reasonable. And the beach, just downstairs, is the best place to swim that I have ever experienced.

Mbamba bay is an amazing place to visit because of its beauty. I have been at the place and I have enjoyed the scenery especially the Mhalo beach at which the guest house, conference and seminar house is located. Any one who visits this place can experience a complete renewal and a fresh experience of life and a new resolve to rediscover the world.

I stayed here for several days. Wonderful view, calm sandy beach, fair prices and good service by the Vincentian Sisters. I recommend it.

The rates are reasonable considering its located right next to the lake and the rooms and restaurant have air conditioning! A nice and quiet lodge.
