The Ifisi Zoo is a difficult thing to rate. It isnt as impressive as big international zoos, and it doesnt compare to going to a safari park. But I always enjoy going there, and so do my kids. They have an impressive selection of animals. Hyenas, snakes, monkeys, ostrich, many kinds of birds, and much more. There is an overlook where you can see down into the Ifisi rivine, and small huts where you can rest, eat, etc. There is a small shop with snacks.It is just a fun thing to do for a couple hours. It is fun to be able to get so close to the animals. Many of the Tanzanians I meet have never actually seen these animals up close, so Im glad that the Ifisi Zoo exists.

Ifisi Zoo is located at Ifisi village nearby ifisi hospital, its a best place to go with either family or friends

This place is awesome... A very good place for family and especially children... Visit and have fun

Kind of a safari park, we went on a 1.5 hours tour with the car and saw some zebras, antilopes, etc.

Interesting small zoo with the opportunity to go into the ravine reserve as well. Certainly worth while visiting!

Its a nice place kids inclusive alot of games for kids to enjoy while watching animals

The animals should be free or sent to live out there lives roaming a protected reserve where they are protected

Beautiful animals to see there...plus fuzzball to complement on the amusement ...quite a place to visit

Kids playground is tooooo close to the cadges, their scream and noise were drove me crazy let alone the poor animals!!

Dont feel like the animals are being taken care of. Hope they are getting enough food.
