MUST VIST CAMP IN SELOUS.A group of 8, 4 adults and 4 children (7,5,5,1) stayed here for 2 nights. What a magical unbelievable experience. The food is great and are all spoiled Dubai based travelers. We couldn’t believe the attention to detail from the chef.The rooms are really good. Perched on the side of the hill looking down on to the Rufishi river. It’s amazing. You see hippos and crocodile from your balcony! Which even has its own jacuzzzi, and are completely private!The rooms have air conditioning a safe and extra beds for children if needed.Staff are polite and friendly. Everything we asked for we got. Without exception.They have a presidential suite which has seen some VVIPs from across the world visit.It’s safe and a great midpoint to stay whilst you explore the SELOUS reserve.We also left our clothes we had used over the short visit. The staff were very happy and will use them. I personally took the details of one of the house keeping staff and I will send him a box of things we don’t use in the new year. Nothing goes to waste out here and people are grateful for everything.Definitely take the river safari. That was a trip of a lifetime. You will see so many animals from the river.We came here at the start of the Omicron outbreak. Do not fear this here. Could not have been further from my mind! There is a hundred things that could get you faster than Covid out here it’s just not an issue. In fact it helps you put things into perspective. We went a whole day in the Jungle without seeing another soul.The hotel is clean and very safe! Enjoy!

WILD EXPERIENCE. Highlight of our stay in TanzaniaBeautiful hotel, attentive service, from the way our driver Francis received us at the airstrip to the services provided at the hotel. Stock up on the insect repellant due to tsetse flies. Very serene and you wake up to the sounds of nature and hippos in the nearby river. You may spot the hyrax, bushbaby, baboons, crocodiles and hippos in the hotel. Last night in the lodge the chef surprised us with the local dishes: such a lovely gesture! Food was good and I 💯 % recommend the lodge for your stay.

Absolutely everything about this place is perfect. From the people who work there, location, views, food, quality of accommodation etc etc, right down to the smallest detail. Words dont do it justice, one MUST see for themselves, and I encourage everyone to do just that.

Just 8 rooms in the Selous game park. Luxury that you do not expect in such a remote place. Great game drives, fantastic food and drink. Beautiful rooms.

Really charming Lodge! All very beautiful and very elegant. Atmosphere of elegance and luxury immersed in the middle of Tanzania. From the rooms you can see the river and the nature.In the room there are all the services you want and more.Staff very kind and discreet.We eat very well.Really recommended.

The food is better than I expected.The services for the safari are exceptional: the guide is quality and very knowledgeable, the water safari is also not to be missed!Lots of lovely animals around the hotel.Lodge which is distinguished by the quality of the excursions and safaris offered.However, be aware that the grounds are not flat.Lodge well located in the Selous nature reserve. A corner of paradise for safari enthusiastsCorrect prices! Good value for moneyNegative points:However, the lodge is sorely lacking in comfort: the pipes are rusty, the shower is on the balcony and there are no mosquito nets and a lot of tsetse flies.

Gorgeous place. We went on a safari and two days were in this hotel. The service is excellent, the food is super, the room is great. From the room view of the Rufigi River which is teeming with crocodiles and hippos.I recommend to everyone who gets on a safari in Tanzania! You will not regret!
