A very good local restaurant serving exceptional food.The owner, Saeed was a wonderful host, always smiling and friendly. We had two types of fish and prawns and it was fresh and flavourful.

One of the best Restaurants on the Island i would say. Youll get what u pay for, even more! Seid, the owner, is really nice and makes u feel really Welcomed. The only Thing in Zanzibar is, Youll have to spend time.. Everywhere you go. Maybe order over WhatsApp before. If u dont, then Youll have to wait 40min to over 1hour. But Everywhere in Zanzibar.

Very tasty food at a reasonable price in a pleasant environment. We ended up going to the place repeatedly. The host is very kind and open to keep a small talk with you. There is a choice of local cuisine as well as burger or pasta. I recommend visiting and trying the coconut beans or the beef avocado burger (check the attached picture). On our last visit we received a travel package with local snack as a gift. Very pleased.

We were happy to find this place and would like to recommend it to others. They have a big menu, all food made of very fresh ingredients and just before its getting served. At the same time they work very quickly and it didnt take that long. We visited this place two times and we tried Calamari Masala, Coconut Beans, Chicken Tandoori, Spaghetti and Cheeseburger with Fries. Everything was veeery delicious and Calamari Masala simply best of the best! Also we felt in love with Ginger soda. The owner Said is very nice, friendly and kind and he is an interesting person to talk to.

An Oasis in the middle of the desert!Escaping the horrendous nearby Coconut Tree Resort, found this great humble local place. Sahid and family are doing a great job and offering good food in a cozy environment given the operational challenges ! Very nice place. Food is realny good. Mango, avocado, cheese sałat is awsome! We ate here second time and everything was very tasty! The stuff is realy helpfull and speak english 🙂

We had a wonderful lunch at this local place. The owner/chef prepared fresh food for us and we really enjoyed every single bit of it. I had the best tender fried calamari on the Island and my soulmate had fish in coconut sauce with rice. The place is next to the main road right beside the speed bump. It felt like an oasis between those unfinished brick houses on both sides. The owner once he finished our meal sat beside us to witness our expressions of pleasure as we started eating. Would recommend to everyone who wants to experience the lovely local cuisine and hospitality.

An hidden gem on this side of the island! Local food, super fresh and the cook is super friendly, ready to share his stories, help you to go around.I got the fried calamar and it was so far the fresher one and the best one I got in my stay here. Drinks are delicious as the limonade and the zanzibar milkshake.

This place is good tbh the food is amazing and super fresh we got the beef stew and grilled seafood the owner made a call and five mins later someone came running with the seafood fresh from the ocean. One issue though it takes time since everything is made to order so check the menu on here and order on whatsapp.

The place is humble, only few tables and spot on the white send of Zanzibar, but the food is as delicious as the owner! Sahid is very kind and honest. Ask in advance for the fresh fish you would like to eat and he will try to satisfy you...but if that fish you choose is not available fresh he will tell you honestly. This is a strong point to make your experience real, lovely and authentic. The fish in general is well cooked and also the veggie, the rice and the potatoes are delicious. You will wait for your food but it is totally deserved!!! If you do not want to wait a lot, just make a call before and he will start preparing the dinner for you. It definitely worth a visit...or a multiple one!

Said has a very nice restaurant in Marumbi. The food is delicious, and the service is nice! Just dont rush if you come here, it might take a bit of time. Call him in and ask to prepare in advance if you dont want to wait much. The phone on google is correct and work on whatsapp!

I can only recommend it! Very tasty dishes. The owner is very helpful and hospitable. I had gastrointestinal problems from eating in the hotel and the owner made me a local tea for these problems, which also helped a lot. The best food in Zanzibar is here!

Tasty, local food for people who want to get to know the real, off-hotel Zanzibar. We dropped in here twice while in the area. A nice variety on the menu, including some vegetarian dishes. The owner is very open-minded, he will always tell you a curiosity, let you get to know himself, the town and the island better. I recommend :)

An incredibly nice restaurant with local food that makes the vacation perfect. The prices are reasonable because everything is not only delicious but also fresh! There are alternatives such as noodles or burgers even for children who are not interested in African cuisine. In addition, the boss really leaves nothing to be desired. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
