Amazing cave that does not look like much at first but turns out to be a good place for an exciting climbing adventure and for taking a swim. Only possible with a local guide though.
A great experience if you come in and take the whole tour all the way to the end of the cave. You can also swim in the fresh water inside. The tour guide is well knowledgeable and very friendly. They take small tip and are willing to stay and explain as much as you want. Definitely recommended for a great experience.
Historical place which gives the past reality. We got lost in the cave as we went through the other direction. Please take a guide or ask for the initial direction. The swim inside the cave was refreshing.Total worth the tour if your heading to nugwi
Visiting the slave cave is a unique experience like no other in the world 🌎.. you must be brave and strong enough to go through this experience and walk through the dark and narrow cave all the way from entrance till near the shore.. it gives you an idea how the slaves were suffering when they brought from Africa to Zanzibar for trade.. that was a horrible trade
I dont hate but Im studying
Fantastic
Nice
Save to visit when in Zanzibar
Had a real good swim while caving here on December 26, 2005. A python snake in the water made each of us turn back where we came from:)
5000 sews / person! Cost. Everything was cool. Swam
It has no lighting... and no maintenance, unfortunately
Stuffy and humid, nothing special there
I think its worth a visit.
Very depressing to learn the story behind the cave.
