Interesting little tour of slave chambers.
Come and learn why this place was named Mangapwani, it has very calm and nice beach to explore.
It is good place to know histry of Tanzania about slaves ....This is the place where the slaves used to be kept and where shipped to arabia.
Its a very historical place with a lot of Tanzanias and African cultures in the place. It sure is not a place to regret when visited and spent some time to and explore.
So lovely place lots of historical stories
Interesting place and nice beach
Nothing but one cellar-like structure in the ground. Its a man made room and NOT a cave. Not worth the bother.

A sad historical reflection of the untold truth about the Arab slave trade. I would recommend this is site for information purposes. The air felt heavy, dense. Truly didnt feel comfortable there.Abrahim will tell you the ins and outs of how this hidden chamber of terror was used to traffic innocent people by the Omani Arabs.
A wonderful historical place, it penetrates to the roots, going down into the dungeon, you will see holes in the walls, there was a wooden ceiling, there were two tiers of slaves, then the guide will lead you along the path and show the bay where the ships were stationed, into which the slaves were loaded. Visit very interesting, in front of this territory to the left there is a descent to the beach, it is simply amazing, secluded, you can just come here every day and swim naked πππ
The underground room where the slaves were kept. The guide told a little about the history and showed the bay where slaves were secretly put on boats and transported for sale. You will not see anything particularly exciting. Paid 32 thousand shillings for 8 people.Better immediately go to the Coral cave, which is on the opposite side. There is a reservoir where you can swim. Pay for Coral cave separately.
Zanzibar and its dark history. A guide at first a bit cold but in fact that explained the history of this place.
Nothing interesting
Emotions in the eye, retracing the story of enslaved human beings
