Our 6 day Kilimanjaro trekking was with Showi tours was amazing, We were picked up at Kilimanjaro airport with no problem by our guide Mr. Joseph mlay. The next morning we started our climb with the same guide who picked us at airport. The trekking was amazing as the guide was professional, good English speaking and very experienced and familiar with his work. It was awe inspiring and unique experience to reach at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro with nice scenery of the glacier. There was nothing important that I saw about traveling to Burigi Chato National Park my Tanzanian boyfriend convinced it was new park so I tried it out. I never thought I would have an amazing safari since I once went to Serengeti I was always thinking of the incredible experience of non-ending flats and grassed sun set! Well the company gave me a unique experience since I had a born-fire and experienced a well-mannered group of guides a bush chef that gave us the privacy we needed. This company should a choice for every volunteer/expat in Tanzania since it well defines ‘the safari experience’.

This mountain have been my dream to climb it for two years. I loved everything about the climb. Our guides and porters were wonderful and knowledgeable plus caring. Climbing is challenging but they made every effort to make us all comfortable and make it to the Summit also known as roof of Africa. The food was amazing I liked the cooked banana porridge they call it ‘mtori’ in Swahili. I have never been so taken away by the mountain like this before! I am here now writing a review because I want to let other hikers know that if they want to book for a Kilimanjaro hike Showi tours is the best company to book your climb with. I liked the way the managing director was steering his entire team to perfectly deliver our experience.

I recommend showi tours as the best tour company in Tanzania because I was tired of Europe so I decided to go to the most beautiful Island in Africa and that is Zanzibar. After a friend who have already been there connected me to a couple of companies that are dealing with tourism in Zanzibar, I made contact with showi tours and they was well responsive the others would either delay their or not have sufficient information and terrible prices. It was the best safari experience with our safari tour operator Showi tours who organized our tour ,we booked 9 days safari where 4 days was for Mkomazi National Park and the rest 5 days was for Serengeti,Ngorongoro and Tarangire national park.
