Cool, peaceful, quiet.Tried the ginger beef with black mushrooms, gangbao chicken, stir sizzling calamari and egg fried rice- all great. Was disappointed that they only had pork dumplings and pork dim sum. Otherwise the staff are quite nice and service overall is great.

This is one of the two Chinese restaurants we know of in Moshi. Came here with my father after our Kilimanjaro trek and ordered mapo tofu, spicy French beans, and steamed rice. Total 13,500 shillings, very reasonable price. The portions were relatively small compared to what youd get at North American Chinese restaurants, but just right for us. The dishes tasted quite good, not too oily, and more similar to actual Chinese food than the deep-fried, sweet and sour stuff you find at North American Chinese restaurants. Im happy with the food. It is said that the owner is a Chinese guy, but the cook and waitress are locals. The restaurant has a large outdoor garden and parking lot, and is located in downtown Moshi. There seems to be only outdoor seating; the indoor area wasnt lit. It was quiet on a Friday night, with only one other customer. Overall I would recommend this place if youre looking for ok Chinese food before/after a grueling Kili trek, but not if youre looking for a lively or warm atmosphere.

Chinese noodles.I want to have a bowl of Chinese noodles after the Kilimanjaro trek. The Chinese owner Mr Feng wasn’t there, but the chef from Tanzania cooked it in a very Chinese way, the soup is a little bit too sweet, but the minced pork and chilli are perfect, the noodles were also cooked in a very suitable hardness (not super soft). The Chinese noodles cost Tsh 10000, which is a good price for foreign food in Moshi.

Pretty good for Moshi, sure. But a far cry from Dar es Salaam -- where I had the best Chinese since China.Fairly limited range of foods. Tasted like it was made by a trainee, not a Chinese chef. They have good fresh 炸酱面 (sauce noodles) but the sauce is too light, should be heavier. Dumplings (饺子) didnt taste fresh... Like from a packet. 麻婆豆腐 Mapo Tofu was oily and had little meat. Even the rice was not fully cooked and didnt stick together! Had to eat it with a spoon!Everything took a long time... Other Chinese restaurants bring food super fast.Basically I would not recommend unless youre desperate n

Surprisingly good (and authentic) Chinese restaurant in a small town like Moshi. The chef is a Tanzanian local but all the ingredients used are legit Chinese stuff (e.g. 豆瓣). A lot of the vegetables are grown in their yard. They also have hotpot and grilled BBQ if you call in advance. The only regret is that a lot of items on their menu are not available.

Decent Chinese food (I am an ethnic chinese BTW)! Not the same quality but I dare say the best chinese food in the region.

I had minced pork ramen.Unlike Japan, the noodles seem to be soft in udon noodles, but they are very delicious with the soy sauce soup with garlic, crispy vegetables, and minced pork! ☺️I thought, but as I continued to eat, the taste of the chemical seasoning was too strong and I got tired of it and my tongue was paralyzed 😭Minced pork ramen 10000 shillingsCoke 1500 shillings(As of September 2018)
