Great to have a good pizza after a long time of rice and beans. I had the spinach pizza with feta cheese and it was really good.They didnt have coffee anymore when I was there but I saw an Italian coffee machine so I suppose the coffee should be good as well.

The place to eat in Lushoto. The pizzas are fresh and simply fantastic. The lasagne was super. The coffees are great. They also serve chicken mchuzi with rice. They also deliver and do take aways.To top it all, the service was exceptional. Must go place in Lushoto.

Delicious pizza and yummy Greek salad. The mushroom pizza was good but the Norma with extra chillies was even better. Friendly staff as well and fast service !

Small shop but amazing food. Super delicious italian pizza. The pizzas were hot and the ingredients were super fresh. Their coffees are also delightful. The customer service is quick. However as mentioned, the area is pretty small. A big crowd can be difficult to accommodate.

What a delight! Locally grown zucchini, local feta cheese (!), local tomatoes in an altogether fresh combination. If you ask for spicy, you get a generous spread of locally grown chili peppers with just the right amount of sweetness. They also have a coffee machine, you can get European style espresso here! The mood is very welcoming. And they are blasting my backstreet boys jam! Couldnt be happier.

The environment here is great, the pizza size is large enough for families to share, the taste is also great. Highly Recommended for tourists in Lushoto

Finding a spot like this in Lushoto, its a definite Five Star for me, leave alone the range of top class Italian delicacies, the pizzas, pasta, all sorts of coffees, African spice tea... very nice bakes (you should try their brownies) smoothies, crunch, milkshake... man; whatever you order from Mamma Mia, youll definitely feel at home 😋 and most of all, the host... Peter, is just amazing; great sense of humor, he knows what hes doing.

Excellent food here, but quite Pricey, more expensive than Irente Cliff Lodge. Worthwhile for one visit though

Delicious and cheesy. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Peter was able to advise us on our hotel and gave thoughtful advice to help us enjoy our time in Lushoto.

Best coffee and pizza since Italy!!! Host Peter shows great hospitality in perfect English. We came back to this friendly place every day to buy a brownie chocolate cake. It was divine, best I ever had in Tanzania!

Lovely staff and atmosphere, selection of Italian food (pizza, pasta, ciabata), delicious smoothies, coffee and tea. You wont find this kind of coffee anywhere around. Yes, this is a mzungu (touristic) place with mzungu prices, but they really do great job and deserve to be praised for their exceptional efforts.

One of the most famous restaurant in Lushoto town,consider as Must go and they are also provide Lunch boxes for a hiking Day.

The pizza was ok, lack of taste, the tomato sauce should be better and maybe some oregano. The spaghetti with tomato and basil sauce was excellent!! We get the food quick about 25 min ad they still told us it will take a little while. Toilett could be better. Cold beer and whine. Overall it was good.

They dont have good customer service, its the only place in town where we can have something in continental , but I ordered Pizza it was so bad and also the pasta no taste at all. I left the whole food and walked away

As it is said in Swahili...NIMESHTUKA... I’m completely shocked. In the small somewhat remote town of Lushoto we find this??? It is a small quaint clean Italian restaurant. And did I mention the quality of the food?? To say it’s superb is just underwhelming. If I ever find myself in the Usambara Mountains again (and I plan on returning) I would go back. No questions asked. Would recommend!!!!

The best pizza I ate in Tansania! An amazing Restaurant in the Center of Lushoto. The food was great and you have a lot of options to choose. Its even suitable for vegetarians. The staff is very friendly and the owner comes from italia, which explains why the food is so good. Also the warm atmosphere of the small Restaurant fits perfect to the cold city Lushoto.

If you are affraid of experimenting with local restaurants and street food, and you want something more familiar and Western, Mamma Mia is the best place. My friend and I had most of our meals there, as the food was very good, the prices were affordable and the service was the best we had in Tanzania. My only regret is that I didnt catch the name of the server who worked there, as he deserves a special shout out, amazing English and very professional and friendly! He deserves a pay raise :)

Amazing place with great food. Whether you want a nice cup of coffee and cake or go out for dinner, this is THE place to go in Lushoto. The staff was overly nice and helped even to find a transport back to our place. Id definitely go back there.

We have been living in Mlalo for 20 days and last saturday we went to Lushoto. We were so excited that it has Pizzaaaa, and most importantly chicken, since Kuku is quite expensive & to find people selling chicken also hardThank you for tone down our craving for chicken, eventhough we doesnt really taste the chicken with the chicken shredded on top of the Pizza.

Mayby not top tipical place woth local food but pizza and cafe is amazing 🥰

We ordered as soon as we arrived after driving, and we did not want to leave, the pizza dough is good, well cooked thin and soft on top, just crispy on the bottom with the right amount of sauce, cheese and mushrooms, it came quickly and it arrived hot, which is not little, very correct price.

Located on the main road through Lushoto, about 100 meters before the church on the left.Seating inside and outside. Very tasty pizza. The milkshakes / smoothies are a must. Price absolutely ok
