We spent 1 night in Lindi, which is about 7 hour car journey from Dar es Salaam.Lindi is a coastal town and it has a few decent hotels.We stayed at the Sea view beach resort and overall it was a pleasant experience. The room and toilets were clean and the staff were helpful.The only negative was the electricity went half way through the night which meant the AC also went off.Overall a good hotel.Top tip make sure you get the WiFi password

I paid for two nights at this Hotel only to be roasted in a heat. AC didn’t work and no one was getting it sorted. Reported the problem to two people at two different times, when demanded to see the manager the receptionist told me the manager is not around luckily I had seen him before, went to him to report, seen sympathetic but still couldn’t help. Disgusted.

Beautifully located nice hotel with tasty food

Property is Good but staff did not inform me that water heater is broken, intact Mr. Simon misguided me by showing heater button when I checked in...by the time when I got to know in the morning his duty was off and staff on his place was not accepting Simons mistake....I ruined my morning. However the place is OK to stay, if management is ready to correct their mistakes

The food was delicious. The service was great. Especially waitress Happy was fantastic for recommending the Kolekole fish with chapati. She is a gem here. Management should promote her. As a Swahili person, I was very skeptical with their fish dishes but was pleasantly suprised. I recommend thier daily catch fish dishes.

Very good views and modern hotel in the heart of Lindi. Unfortunately there is limited quality sleep due to the live music and noise coming from the bar/restaurant area. This lasted until 2pm one a Wednesday. But for the facilities i am not sure there is a better more comfortable hotel in the area.

Luxurious place to be...really enjoyed

Nice hotel, very price though quite basic rooms. Its one of the pleasant places to stay compared to other places. The food and service was good. Food took approximately 40mins which was a bummer. Its on the beach, the view from the room is good. Few rooms, hence, highly booked out on peak events or periods.

This is probably the best hotel in town. Very neat and cultured grounds, with a lot of colourful flowers in between real green grass, intersected by small paths of tiles. Great pool with view of the ocean and the old boat in the bay.There is a big meeting hall, which is also used for lunch and dinner, the kitchen has a surprisingly big variation of food and beverages, and nowadays the waiting time could have been reduced to a normal level. The service is friendly.Furthermore, you can set your table behind the back door and sit barefoot in the sand while eating and enjoying the view of the Lindi bay.The rooms are modern and spacious, with indirect lights (some even offer colour changes), reliable air conditioning and a great flow of water in the shower. The Beds are big and comfy.Considering the surroundings, it takes a lot of effort to keep up this level and the hotel team is succeeding successfully.At the end, this place is highly recommended (although, surely, the prices are way above average compared to the rest of the town. But one has to consider that the whole complex is way above average!)

Now known as Lindi Beach resort. Excellent hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. Good food and by a good beach nearby with an interesting ship wreck nearby. Highly recommended and worth stopping off for lunch if driving from Dar es salaam to southern Tanzania.

Best hotel in Lindi with a stunning view of the bay. Stayed 2 nights during my official tour to Lindi. Will come again. Clean room, trained staff, will get ur food in the restaurant. Bed n breakfast.

Hotel policies only allow Husband and Wife (or just male and female because surely they are not going to ask for marriage certificate) to share a room. We were two female friends travelling and wanted to splurge on a 250,000 room but they refused and insisted we take two even though the hotel was pretty much empty.

Its a beautiful, chilly place. Tho the rooms are on the expensive side, the services are reasonable (drinks and food) - on my opinion

Sea view Beach resort is a Decent 3Satar hotel in Lindi the only hotel that one can actually be comfortable with totally differentt scenery. Its by the beach ,walking distance to the main Bus stand has games for children. The restaurant serves good multicousine food. They also have a hall for meetings. The pool view from the rooms with the wonderful green garden is the best thing to wake up too. Prices also very reasonable its value for money.
